Not really familiar with Indonesian cuisine which may explain my food rating of 'Mediocre'. Our party of 7 ordered the Lombok banquet for a Fri night dinner. As I have a shellfish allergy the restaurant kindly provided a veg substitute for the two dishes (entree and main) just for me.

Service a little poor: Ordered a simple ginger ale with others but had to chase mine when it failed to turn up. My 'special dish' was just plonked down randomly without asking who it was for or that it was the non-shellfish dish.

Dessert: After reading the +ve review here about the black sticky rice in coconut milk with pineapple pieces, I was very disappointed with the result (needed convincing it had coconut milk as the taste was frankly awful, you really need to add all the bits to it before consuming ie. rice + pineapple + ice cream).
Noisy ambience. Won't be back in a hurry.

Wonderful food let down by appalingly bad service. Unfortunately, these people are so bad, you really need to double check everything the service staff do, from bookings, meal orders, drinks and final payment.

Examples of awful Service: Our family (4 adults) had to change our booking to a later time, which was done in person. But when we arrived (on a very busy Sat night) they only had the old time printed out. As we spotted the person who had made the alteration they gave in and managed to find a table. After ordering we were informed one of our side dishes had run out (a tomato salsa dish!).

Then only one of the two Tandoori platters turned up, after I specifically asked for four people (as each platter is only for 2) saying '2 platters please'. At the end of our meal as we waited to ask for the bill we were suddenly presented with another table's change, so we could've left with change from a free meal (worth over $130)! When we paid, with CCard, it was left sitting on the front counter!

Meals: Tandoori Platter, Lamb Rogan Josh, Beef Dhansk, Desi Chicken, Alloo Panner - all excellent. Pistachio Kulfi - not bad I thought, but my brother thought it lacked the authentic taste.
