Have been past this place a number of times but it was my first time as a customer. The food was good but most dishes were not significant different from the fare offered at similar places. The Champinones al Ajo were were very nice as was the soft shell crab, both of which had been recommendations Service was warm but once again nothing more than expected. Not much more to say - a decent place but not particularly memorable.

As a first timer to Arthur's I was very impressed by the overall package. Yes, it is like a nice version of your local pizza place but the pizzas (Mexican and Chicken pizzas), garlic bread and salads were above what I was expecting in terms of quality and definitely great value for the portions that were given. Staff were warm and friendly but the only downside was the relatively early closing time for a Saturday. Will be back.

I came here using a voucher so I would have thought that the value would be great. Sadly I was disappointed in that sides, wine and other accompaniments are relatively expensive.

Regarding the food, I will admit that my steak may have been an exception. My girlfriend enjoyed her steak but mine was well cooked and served but simply lacking in quality for the supposed $45 odd dollar piece of meat that it was. It tasted tough and was not top quality. Let me qualify that by saying that it was hands down better than any pub steak but at a nicer restaurant specialising in steak it was a disappointment.

Fantastic food and very good value for the quality of the food. The steak tartare and the French onion soup were both delicious entrees and while the lamb was a great main the confit duck was a standout, smoky, tender and beautifully cooked. The chestnut mousse dessert was also exceptional!

Wine menu was a little shallow at the lower priced range but nonetheless had some great options. Service was great, but it did border a bit on the too casual, especially from the staff.

All in all, highly recommended for a fantastic dinner with friends. As a romantic dinner (as I had), perhaps, it is too much of a bistro but nonetheless very enjoyable.

Great burgers but a bit on the small size. Very difficult to actually get a seat if you want one. It's a glorified and good tasting take-away shop, albeit one that does their burgers really really well. Highly recommended for a snack or a takeaway.

Ok service and decent food but below average in a city bursting with great, cheap eats (especially so close to Chinatown). Value was ok, with the wine very reasonbly priced. A food highlight were the beef sticks which had a great smokiness and were well cooked. Sashimi was ok and fresh but not the greatest quality plus quite expensive for a small plate. All in all ok.

To be honest, having come here on and off for a few years (mainly for breakfast but also recently for lunch and dinner) the place can be a bit hit-and-miss. That's what happens when you get genuine French waiters/waitresses, authenticity but also some amateurishness.

The creme brulee is definitely one of the better parts of the menu, alongside the Beef cheeks - "Joue de boeuf braisée, sauce vin rouge et pommes-frites". The breakfast menu has, however, seemed to slip over the past 2 years, to the point that it is bland tasting and uninspired, though still decent in portion. In the morning get an outside table and enjoy the sight of weirdos walking past.

As a caveat, I came here with a voucher so the value was fantastic. Still otherwise, it would be great. Had the Vietnamese feast with the gf and it was delicious, particularly the pho and the beef. The decor and layout is halfway between a cheapo Thai retaurant and a nice cafe though, which lets the place down. Dimming of the bright lights would definitely help. All-in all despite operating in a very competitive area full of good places to eat, Dragon's Den is worth visiting again.

The place has great Polish food, prepared in large and tasty portions in a genuine way. The real letdown of the Polish food, however, is the Polish service. Whilst my friends and I highly enjoyed the meals we ordered, left feeling full and sated, the service was cold and uncommunicative (waiting 45 minutes for mains without any update). Overall I think the place is decent and will give it another shot (because of the food and value) but I think service needs to improve.

As expected from recommendations the bacon and egg roll is fantastic here. I have tried a few other things on the menu and they range from decent (the egg and smoked trout) to the great (the sausages and the coffee). The seating can be a bit cramped but I guess that the large table also adds a bit to the communal feel. Service is usually good but a bit detached. Overall, I recommend this place for their original and tasty variations on the usual breakfast fare, prepared well and at a reasonable price.
