African Queen is a charming, authentic little place, with a casual atmosphere and hearty food. The staff are genuine and candid without displaying any of the obsequious behavior that you are likely to find in more up market joints. You will not find waitresses oozing superficial charm here.

The menu is extensive and the food, although predominantly West African, allows customers to sample cuisine from a variety of regions in Africa. You will be assured of tasty, decent sized portions and moderate prices. If you want a taste of the African experience then this is the place for you!

If you enjoy being treated with contempt then this is the restaurant for you! With spectacularly awful service and food that bears little resemblance to the succulent meats and delicately-spiced vegetables found in Morocco this place is, unfortunately, an unforgettable experience.
