My partner and I dined here for the first time last night. It was my first experience with African food, probably the first of many.

Our waiter was a real character which made the experience all the more enjoyable for us. He helped us out by recommending dishes for us to share, all of which were full of flavour. I refrained from using my cutlery, opting to go authentic by eating the meat, lentils and vegetable with their traditional bread.

You could be forgiven for initially thinking you've been served a basket of hand-towels, but let me tell you the bread is delicious. I've decided to name it 'crumpet pancake' bread, and if you give Gibe a go you'll understand why.
For a grand total of $40 dollars we'd enjoyed a beer each and had very satisfied tummies. Big thumbs up!

I just loved this place. From the delicious Tandoori mushroom entrée served on a hot plate to the Indian dance music playing in the background it was an enjoyable experience. The food was so tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is so relaxed you can almost forget you're in a restaurant. Lovely service too. I'll be back again in the future for sure.

I dined here with family last night for my Mum's birthday and none of us could fault the food or the service. My Mum really enjoyed herself and let the owner know we would definitely be back again. I'd been prior to this and never had a bad meal. The servings are very generous for the price. Mains are around $10-$16. Highly recommended!

I've given this place a go on three or more occasions and had been on the fence until my last visit. I really don't like the woman behind the bar staring while we're eating our food. Gripe number one. I don't like what are obviously frozen vegetables served to me in a restaurant. Gripe number two. Aside from that the place is just too small. I hope they're planning to extend or find a larger premise for their own sake.

All in all this place is really so-so. I think they're trying to cater to the local population by dulling their meals down too much, there's a real lack of authenticity and flavour.

For number one, we just would like to take the best care of our customers, if they need anything else while they are in our restaurant so we can give them right away. We are very sorry if this causes you uncomfortable, we will tell our staff to put less attention to some details on our services.

For number two, we confirmed 1000% that our vegetables are fresh, not frozen because I myself as one of the staff buy and cut vegetables on daily basis.

Lastly, we apologize that our restaurant is too small, as we are still new in the area (has been opened for 7 months), we cannot move to a larger premise now but we will consider your advice in the future. Thank you very much for your review and advice so we can improve our services for a better service and food.

Dined here with my Dad last week and had been quite a few times previously over the years being a local. I think the food is really overpriced for a pub and I don't like the lining up scenario to order. I think they're trying too hard in all regards while neglecting to realise this is not the richest of areas and people don't have $20+ to spend on a really average pub meal. Dad and I agreed we'll keep taking our lunch meets somewhere else instead.

This is a very nice looking restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food came out quite quickly. I think the Thai here is a little too modernised for my tastes, although it was very fresh and looked appealing. I feel like the flavour was a bit lacking compared to the Thai food I am used to.

I dined here for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the atmosphere and the service. The food was really tasty and excellent value for money. I went with my partner who had a voucher that offered a $3 main with the purchase of one main meal. He opted not to use the voucher because we were so happy with our experience. We will be back again for sure. If you decide to dine here I can highly recommend the potato-filled roti bread as a starter. It's delicious.

I have dined in a lot of Thai restaurants. My partner & I dined in this one last night ordering some of our favourite dishes; beef salad, pad krapow & coconut rice. The rice was cold & didn't taste like coconut, the salad should've come with a disclaimer about the amount of chili in it and the pad krapow was pretty average. All in all- less than impressed with this one.

I had dinner here just last night and it was very tasty. I liked the homey atmosphere too. I had a Thai Salad with beef, my partner had a stir-fry with oyster sauce. We ordered Thai fish cakes for entree which the waitress forgot about. We got them after our mains (no big deal). They were also delicious. I will be back again.

I took my best friend and her daughter here for a birthday dinner. Although the food was just ok, I would go back and try again. This is due to the lovely staff who were really friendly to us and extremely atentive.

Update: Have dined here again recently with my Mum for a banquet and I have to say that it was absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. I'm glad I gave this one another go.
