This place was okay... Pretty cool decor, pizza and salad was pretty good and service was okay. Probably one of the better pizza places in the area.

Went to this place for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. The food was delicious, especially the salad with the pomegranate and the dips. The low seating was very uncomfortable though.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Great ambience, impeccable service, delicious food - a little different from your standard Indian restaurant fare, which was great. A little on the pricey side, so maybe not a place to visit weekly - but I'll definitely go back.

The service is always curt - but we come here for the excellent beef pho, not the service. Stuffed chicken wings are also very yummy. Great value for money. Recent refurbishment has made the place way more appealing than before. A little disappointed they don't serve fresh chilli any more. In my opinion, the best pho in Sydney.

The four seasons fish is great, soft shell crab with papaya salad is yum, and the massaman lamb shanks are naughty but delicious. My partner's a big fan of the thai beef salad because it comes with a whole steak. It's good value and on the way home for us, so we often pop in for a quick after work dinner.

Tucked out of the way in Rozelle, this place is a bit of a hidden gem. The bar food was delicious (although pricey), and the decor was pretty cool. I had the steak sandwich - it was delicious. They also have cool little rooms for private functions.

Probably one of the better pubs to eat at in the area - the food here is good, quite an extensive menu, and the room upstairs is really nice. I love the big tables, great for big groups. The food can sometimes be a bit too fussy, and it's not great value for money, but generally I quite like the place.

Hands down, my favourite place to eat in Newtown. This is Newtown's best kept secret, the food is amazing. It's simple, unpretentious, unfussy and easy. Great wine list. Absolutely adore the homemade gnocchi, I get it almost every time. The blue cheese and caramelized onion tart is also amazing. And the desserts... Ohhh the desserts.

I love the fajitas at this cozy little place! Lots of flavour and good quality fillings. Serving sizes are a little small, but still very very good overall. The wall of pain (chilli sauces) is a nice touch! Am yet to be disappointed by a restaurant on this strip.

The food here was just awful. I had the barramundi with salad, too many flavours on the plate, and flavours that didn't quite mix. The hostess took our number to call us when a table was available but forgot to call us. We went back 45 minutes later to see another couple walk in off the street to be seated immediately. My friend's dish looked absolutely repulsive and I'm glad I didn't order that! I suppose this place is just a tourist trap, given the good location, terrible food and high prices.
