Went there for lunch with my old boss. Was welcomed at the door by a very friendly man, who showed us to our table. Cafe inside is nicely decorated or you can sit outside on a sunny day. Food was very good (we had the prawn & crab fritters with salad - very nice). Coffee was delicious and smooth. Bit expensive, but that's Beecroft! Parking at the door is convenient. Very pleasant afternoon.

Went there with my boss for my farewell dinner last Friday night. The staff were so welcoming, service perfect, food great and well priced.

My boss was disappointed they didn't have crumbed schnitzel on that night, but the waitress smiled and said "we can make it, no problem", which they did!

Just a very small quibble, I wish they would do the place up a bit. It's nice and warm, but could do with an update. Though the chairs are very comfortable to sit in.

Highly recommended for your next function or intimate dinner.

Went to a 90th Birthday party here on Sunday and can't recommend it highly enough. The minute we walked in we were welcomed warmly by the waiters and offered drinks and canapes. It was a set menu, but the food choice was wonderful and plenty of it. The staff were very attentive the the "party-girl", which was nice to see. It's a very pleasant spot for lunch indeed.

Went there before going to a show at the Theatre Royal. Found the service very good and food was great. It's in a very pleasant spot in the MLC Centre, where you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

Trevi Lakeside, Baulkham Hills

Went there for our wedding anniversary last night and we had a wonderful time.
We were warmly welcomed and seated outside by the water. We had coconut prawns, garlic bread for entree. I had Red Emperor seated on a pancake with Champagne sauce and hubby lobster ravioli.

Needless to say both dishes were sublime! Sweets were crepe suzette and sticky date pudding, which were lovely too. The only gripe of the night was no water was offered on the table. But no matter, the staff were very attentive and service was just right, not too fast, not too slow, prices are a little high for the 'burbs, but well worth it for that speacial occasion. We had a memorable anniversary dinner at Trevi Lakeside.

Went there for lunch before going for a trail ride at Malabar riding school on Monday.
Found it to be very pleasant indeed. We were welcomed by a friendly waitress, who served our food promptly. The octopus was lovely and tender and the fresh orange juice was just that! Highly recommended.

Well, looks like I'm the first reviewer of the Callala RSL! You are always welcomed by warm and friendly staff. The new "Three Sisters Resturant" opened at the end of last year and has a varied menu, all your club favorites, kids meals for $6 and some specials thrown in.

I really enjoyed the Thai Prawns (I had them three times over Christmas) and my husband had the Beef Pie (again nearly every time we went). The prices are amazing! Good value for visiting families.

Eventhough it was packed out during the holidays, the ladies who run it where happy to serve and polite, even when some of the tourists got narkey they had to wait a bit for their meal (hey guys, it was the Christmas Holidays, if you want your meal in 5 minutes go somewhere else)!

I'm sorry to say the ambience is a bit lacking, considering they added a whole new room function room (just a big square box). Shame, as out the back the view over the golf course is amazing. Mobs of kangaroos and all. When you are visiting Callala Bay and Beach, pop in, you won't be disappointed!

Went there last night for a small Christmas Party. I've read a few of the previous reviews, so went with trepadation. There was no need to worry. We were greeted at the front my an amiable fellow, who showed us to our table (which was like a tressle), so we asked could we have a booth. The place was packed, but he moved us no problem.

Our cheery waitress came promptly and took our orders. The drinks and food came quickly, considering the place was full. We all had the tasting plate - which consisted of pork knuckle, sausage, mash, red cabage & ham steak. It's huge (would have been good to share) and ready good. We had lemon tart & chocolate pudding for dessert.

With a roaming piano-accordian player "Fritz" roaming around and playing requests and Christmas carols, the ambience and the night was so much fun.

Went there last night for a birthday for the first time, eventhough I'm a local. We were welcomed warmly and seated promptly. The restaurant looks like it's been refurbished and it looks great. Our waitress, Linda, was attentive all night and knew her stuff.

Menu is extensive, which is refreshing. I had the cannelloni and my friends had pasta. It came promptly and was delish. It's a bit pricey for Baulkham Hills, but for that special occasion, it's perfect!

Went there for Father's Day Lunch. I really enjoyed the food, nice big serves and value for money. The service was a bit "patchy". One waitress was very sour and sarcastic, where the other was lovely and helpful, made up for her. Easy parking right out the front and the kid's playground right out the front makes for a pretty good place to go.
