Was there with a party of 18 on Friday night and was very impressed. Service was friendly and attentive (not to mention our 2 waiters were not hard on the eye and the meal, poached salmon with a fennel puree and asparagus salad was delicious. Dessert (chocolate bavarois) was sublime with a chocolate mousse dome, sorbet and salted peanuts.

I had been here before for a dine in lunch and was pleased with the BBQ pork ribs and massaman curry.
Unfortunately, my second experience with takeaway dinner was not. Again, I ordered the massaman curry and was happy, however, the 2 other dishes were not up to par. The pad thai had a nice flavour, but there were too many onion pieces which were the size of matchstick boxes and there were 10 prawns of which only 4 had meat, the rest were just tails (I have never had this happened to me before, one I could believe it was part of the cooking process but six?!).
Next the stuff squid was not edible. Lifting the lid of the container there was a very strong fishy smell which gave the indication it was not for consumption and looked quite revolting.
I really don't understand the logic here. Do they do this to takeaway customers because they bet on them not bothering to return and complain? That's certainly what happened to me but of course customers post reviews (duh!) and it is a very short sighted strategy as there will be no repeat business.
Also, most times I go by this place, whether it be weekday or weekend, it's busy with customers unlike the Malaysian place next door and the Indian place across the piazza, so why they need to cut costs like this? Has QTC put up the rent to a ridiculous amount? Lastly, I'm disappointed as I thought we had a decent Thai restaurant in the Hills. I guess we'll have to keep looking.

Really nice food, had the rare roast beef baguette along with sweet goodies - a chocolate eclair filled with delicious choc cream, their vanilla cheesecake which was light and had a nice lime tart flavour and the chocolate cake which was divine. Gotta go back and try the rest of the menu.

Decided to give Cibo a try after reading the positive reviews and visited last night (Sat). The Hapuka fish with fennel and pomegranate salad was perfectly cooked and the aniseed flavour of the fennel was balanced with the sweetness of the pomegranate. The pappardelle pasta with mushroom ragu was a little too al dente for me, a minute or two more would be perfect.
Mushrooms on the hand were full of flavour and delicious. Dessert wise, the hot chocolate pudding was very chocolatey and of a size that would satisfy any chocoholic. The honey tart was thin as the honey flavour was intense and the peanut butter ice cream was yummy.

Very good thai. The pad thai had a bit too much sauce, but the mssaman curry was excellent and so was the penang chicken curry. Table settings had a nice feel and staff were friendly.

Drinks here are ok and so are the lunches. The couches upstairs present a relaxed atmosphere but you still can mingle. Most of the food is of an asian fusion flavour.

Work paid for this one so not sure what the value is like but the setting is nice with the large wine collection visible and natural light filtering through. Food is pleasant, I had the prawn and avocado entree and risotto.

The food is simple and tasty, I recommend the John Dory and sauteed spinach, but the prices of pasta is definitely not justified. I agree with some reviewers, the pasta is definitely out of the box and as for the prawn dishes, instead of getting whole prawns, you get prawn pieces. At $35, you would expect more, even if they using Australian prawns.

Best pies in Sydney hands down! I tried the beef burgundy pie with its light crispy crust and real beef chunks and it was only $3.50. Too bad it's so far away, I would come more often but at almost a 40 minutes round trip, you'll spend more money on petrol. I wonder if they sell to any food outlets closer to the town.

Despite it being hideously expensive, Passion Flower always seems to be packed. I guess it's coz of the exotic asian flavoured ice cream that's not easily obtained elsewhere. Favourites are black sesame and green tea and the waffles are ok.
