The outdoor setting is stunning although the food was quite ordinary. The only dish I really enjoyed was the sizzling lamb dish (not exactly authentic Thai), the wait staff and bar tenders need to smile abit more. Great location but does not compare to Thai Pothong. The prawns were massive.

This is by far my fav korean restaurant, the best dish is the raw icy meat, the side dishes are great too, we couldn't stop asking for more potato salad. The meats are marinated perfectly.

I always order the wraps here but nothing beats their jackfruit or avocado shake, sublime.

My favourite dish here is the "Com Tom Rhim" (not sure how to spell it), basically it is a prawn dish with a delicious reddish sauce topped with scrambled eggs, my only complaint would be that everytime we go there, the tables smell like damp unwashed cloths...

Going to Big Johns is like a novelty, we always have a laugh at how gigantic the steaks are, although big, they are tasteless, everyone that walks in goes home with a doggy bag.

We were there on a tuesday night. Ordered the raw meat for entree, this dish costs over $25 but we only had 4 very small slices of the raw beef on the plate! Who are they kidding? I had the atlantic salmon which was quite nice, my friend ordered the spaghetti marinara which came out so dry she had to ask for more sauce, the waitress that served us was very friendly. Our dessert was the highlight of the night, plentiful and delicious.

I thought the decor was nice and inviting, we ordered the drunken chicken, it was yummy although the portions were so small, the dumplings were delicious, no faulting that, on the expensive side but its their signature dish so you would expect to pay more for it. We had the custard bun for dessert, one (small) bun for $5?! I can buy a six pack for that price (I guess steaming it costs money yeah..hehe).

We had the banquet, servings I found were quite small, considering the $45 plus we were paying! We shared one small (very small) dish of tabouli amongst 4 friends, I could have easily scoffed that down in one hit. The highlights were the eggplant dip and the rice and lamb dish (YUM YUM), if you're going to charge that much, cut the attitude when we ask for more bread...

I called up today to make a booking, the girl sounded like she just woken up from a deep sleep, my reservation is made for October (the earliest date for a Saturday night), jeeezus 10 months waiting list, better be good! I've been to Iron Chef sekai's restaurant in Tokyo, fusion of french and japanese cuisine, it was magical, 7 course dinner and met the man himself. I have high hopes for Tets as well.

Peking duck is delicious here, wasabi beef is superb - although very small portions. The Singapore crab was possibly the worst I've ever had - too sweet and overload of pineapples made it hard to finish.
