Wonderful! We spent a long weekend eating our way around the Hunter and this was by far the most delicious food. (Better than Margan in our opinion).
Atmosphere was inviting, cosy and colourful. Desserts were delicious, cranachan and a strawberry ice cream dessert with coconut and marshmallow were superb. The wine list was divided into local and not so local, some so local they were described as "up the track" and "round the front". A nice touch was having their own wines as the wines by glass.
The only criticism would be that the slightly twee sounding name might put a few people off. Delicious.

Lovely atmosphere. White tablecloths. Food in general delicious, in particular an asparagus and egg starter, sourced from their garden and own hens. Desserts were disappointing, the banana brulee was sickly, runny and unpleasant.

Great place! They have obviously thought carefully about sourcing their ingredients and it pays off with the resulting tasty burgers. Moo offers a large range of burgers from $10.50 for a classic Aberdeen Angus Beef burger to $16.50 for the more inventive combination such as the Duck and Bacon burger, the Asian-style Pork Belly burger and the Chorizo sausage burger.
In addition there are three vegetarian options, a variety of chicken burgers, a mini option for the under 12s and a Hapuku fish patty burger. Sides include excellent thick cut chips with an array of homemade sauces - we tried the aioli. There is also an array of hardcore looking milkshakes with added choc - Milo bar, Cherry Ripe, Malteser.
A small wine list by glass or bottle and beers too. Food was impressive and portions were sizeable. The decor is inviting and music unobtrusive. Good work - we'll be back to work our way through the list!

Tempted by the unusually packed restaurant we decided to try Bondi Pizza to see if it would be able to break the spell of what seems to be a jinxed site for Bondi eateries. Unfortunately, it seems this won't be the one to do that. The pizza was disappointing for a place advertising pizza in it's name. Margherita pizza advertised as having buffalo mozzarella had the sum total of a fridge-cold teaspoon's worth atop and eeek was covered in pre-grated powder parmesan!
The pepperoni wasn't much better with thick bland salami, mint and another teaspoon's worth of buffalo mozzarella. To be pedantic the green salad was really a mixed salad but probably the tastiest part of the meal. Service was prompt but, unfortunately, the water ordered never materialised and the wine tasted like it had been opened 2 days ago. Be interesting to see how long this one lasts.
