This review is a little out of date but I thought I had to give my two cents worth as I still talk about them to this day. We went there about three years ago with a table of eight.

My wife had done a little research before hand so we were aware of possible domestics during our dinner. Fortunately, we had booked ahead and were pleasantly waited upon. All our food came in good portions and were very nice. In particular I would describe the snails as being surprisingly nice. I normally Hate snails. I had tried snails on two other occasions in my life and they were disgusting.

On this occasion I had seconds and even thirds! I was very happy indeed. However, when the mains came out I was not happy. They had stuffed up on my order and given me something else instead. When I complained about not receiving what I had ordered the waitress just told me to eat it as it was also very good. At this point I was angry but I'm a rather patient person and the others at my table pacified me.

I took a bite of what they had served me and I was the happiest person on the table all night. I had the best pork knuckle ever! We haven't been back since as we don't usually trek out into the Blue Mountains for a dinner, but would definitely go again when we are out that way.
