Went here with my hubby and despite all the good reviews, we were quite disappointed. Our bruschetta came out and it tasted like homebrand garlic bread with a few tomatoes and cheese on top. It was very soggy and not nice at all! Our meals were ok, however, my husband's prawns stunk and tasted like they were off. Oh and to top things off, my creme brulee was cold! Don't think we will be going here again.

We hadn't been to Mado in ages. Usually just get take-away desserts and icecream, though went on a Monday night for dad's birthday. The food was actually quite shocking! I remember going years ago and the Maras Kebab was beautiful. We ordered it this time and recommended it to my dad, though I wish I hadn't! It has since been changed from diced lamb pieces to pieces of kofte and the turkish pide bits at the bottom are hard rock croutons!

My husband ordered the Guvec and there was about 5 pieces of meat, the rest was all eggplant! It didn't even seem like Guvec, more like a re-heated casserole dish. It was so disappointing and I felt extremely bad being my dad's birthday and all. However, they still have the best baklava and ice-cream. We didn't even stay there for the dessert, we took it home! From now on, I will just stick to dessert from this place.

Went here for my mum's birthday which was on a Tuesday night and the service was actually quite good. The dips and bread were absolutely divine, though wish the servings for this were a bit bigger. However, our mains were perfect, good size and delicious! We all tried something different and everyone was impressed with their meals! Overall, a very pleasant night!

We went here on Saturday night for my niece's birthday and did not have any problems what so ever! We didn't have to wait too long for our entrees, which were just delicious. Then our mains came out shortly after and the servings were so huge that some of us struggled, though some (hubby and brother-in-law) did manage to force it down, whilst the other half decided to have the leftovers for take away. We really enjoyed this restaurant, the food, service and atmosphere was great, would definitely go back!!!

I have been here a few times and have never been dissatisfied! The food is great, especially the hot pot garlic prawns, absolutely divine!!! The atmosphere is great, the waiters are really friendly and helpful. The male and female belly dancers provide excellent entertainment and you may even get to have a go dancing with them as I did on my birthday! :-) Overall, I recommend this place to anyone as I just love this restaurant!
