What a disappointment. I took some friends today for their first yum cha. I was so embarrassed and regretted taking them here. I called in advance to be told they don't take bookings on the weekend so we went at 11am to avoid the "rush".

It wasn't overly busy but the trolleys were few and fast between. Normally yum cha is a pleasant experience with the trolleys coming consistently.

For us, a table of 3 adults and 4 children the only thing we had plenty of was tea. And we were charged $12.50 to have someone fill our pot with hot water 3 times. What a disgrace.

We were charged $81.10 for the following: 1x chicken/scallop dim sum, 1x seafood dumpling (dry and disappointing), 1x BBQ pork bum, 2x mango pancake, 1x dim sum, 1x jelly, 1x prawn dumpling (which we were told were sold out and had to wait for more).

I was not impressed to say the least. I felt completely ripped off and disappointed. I didn't appreciate the cashiers speaking in a different language to me whilst discussing my bill before advising of the cost.

I will not be back. The whole experience left me feeling disappointed and ripped off. Had I read the other reviews before going I would not have gone. Sadly this restaurant seems to be the general standard for Chatswood these days.
