What a great find! A neighborhood restaurant with, as others have noted, food quality and creativity to challenge the best Thai restaurants in Sydney.
The value is exceptional. Yes, it's expensive if you are comparing it to a bog standard Thai takeaway, but cheap if you correctly consider it in the Sailor Thai league.
The food is anything but bog standard with some creative twists of some Thai classics. This is a chef that clearly understand ingredients, not just how to follow a recipe. Unlike a lot of Thai restaurants, desserts are a treat here.

Loved this place. You feel like you are eating in an old fashioned Temperance Hall but they have jazzed it up a bit to look a bit funky. Forget the ambience, the star here is the food. Great seafood, great dumplings, great variety.

My rule for good fish dishes is that it's always best when you don't f**k with it. Well. This place f**ks with it a bit but always in a good way. They still keep things simple so everything tastes fresh but interesting. Service is exceptional and prices are good enough to keep you coming mid-week. They've really got the formula right.

Love the atmosphere here but a little disappointed with the menu. The name gives you expectations that this is going to be a fish restaurant - it isn't. Fish features on the menu, but only for 2 or 3 of the mains. Not the choice you expect if you have come for a seafood fix.
The food that comes is good, but not special (which it should be at premium prices). The service, as others have mentioned, is indifferent. The sommelier only seemed comfortable recommending conventional choices (despite there being some excellent interesting lesser known items on his wine list!). I'd suggest coming here for a pre-dinner drink at their great outside bar at the end of the pier and dining elsewhere for seafood.

Possibly the best restaurant I've been to in Sydney for many years, possibly ever!
Some people have been critical of the courtyard atmosphere, but we loved the casualness of that, fine dining without the stuffiness. Service was excellent without being stuffy too, very knowledgeable about wine as well as the food.
The savoury dishes are probably stronger than the desserts, with the duck egg sticky rice balls a particular highlight. Yep it's expensive, but great for a special night.

I've eaten here for lunch and dinner a few times and loved it. Food is excellent and staff friendly and professional.
I note some negative comments below, saying there is better and cheaper tapas to be had elsewhere. You have to remember that this place is tapas with a modern gourmet twist. If you want the traditional fare, then you might find a better deal in Seville.

Have been here more than a dozen times and it is always exceptional and exceptional value. Food is true fusion, with original modern slants on traditional Vietnamese, Malaysian and Thai. Service is consistently friendly and helpful. The only slight negative is the restaurant gets noisy so can be difficult for big groups. Really good value for reasonable prices.
