The food was innovative still delicious. The portions were not big but I was full by the end of the course. The matching wines were so nice with the dishes.

The service was one of the bests. Polite, punctual and friendly. It was a real "service". Overall, I had very nice experience at this restaurant. I would like to go back sometime.

I have had dinner at this place a few times. I liked friendly atmosphere and reasonable priced food. I was happy to go there until the last visit.

I had Thai Beef Salad and it was far too spicy. I could not taste anything but chili and could not finish it. I have found so many chili and chili seeds in the dish. I had painful experience next day in the toilet.

Service was good until the last time. A new guy was working in the restaurant. He seems like a European prince who wants to show off his looks and body to ladies. He poured water to cups on some table but our table was totally ignored. No glass, no water, no menu, no cutlery, no dish was brought to our table even he passed quite a few times and saw nothing was on our table.

We had to ask another staff to come to our table as he was spending more than 5 minutes for chatting with customer at the next table and we were invisible for him. He seems to chose the table he wants to attend and ignore other tables completely.

I won't go back to this restaurant for a while.

Reasonable priced genuine Japanese food in Crows Nest. Waiting Staffs were polite and friendly. I did not find the portion was small for Japanese cuisine at the price. Tastes were real Japanese food not pretend one. If you do not understand the quality of Sushi, Sashimi, or Japanese food, don't go. Better to go to food court.

My partner and I had tasting course. We enjoyed creative and well prepared dishes. Most of the waiters were friendly and service was not too bad. It was pity that a certain couple was paid attention by the waiting staff than other customers. Maybe they are loyal customers. We had to draw attention to order some drink and wait for quite a while it's arrival but the particular couple got always smiling staff around them.

My partner and I went there a few nights ago. The ambience was good and we enjoyed the water view. We felt the next table was too close, though.

We had "Perfect for two with matching beverages" course. Most of the dishes were good. Dynamite Tuna Handroll was too hot and the cilli paste overpowered other tastes. Although, there was a heat warning about the handroll it would be better if we could have chosen the heat level for the dish. Tempura was a bit too oily for me. Lobster dish came in one plate for us. We shared a half Lobster.

Overall, the serving size was small portion but we were full by the end of the course because of eating slowly with matching beverages. Some of beverages did not come on time. Some came too early for the dish and some came too late.

The service was slow. It took 2.5 hours to complete the course. We did not mind as we could enjoy the atmosphere and conversation. It could be torture if we had little to talk about.

Waiting staff were relatively friendly and we did not experience anything unpleasant. However, the restaurant seemed short staffed for the early part(8-9 pm) of the night. Perhaps, the restaurant could benefit from some more experienced front of house staff.

Overall, we had relatively good experience. We may go back in a few months time.
