Bistro Bruno is great. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the ambience of the restaurant is lovely. I had the prawn pasta for an entree, the beef for a main and the chilli and lime brulee for dessert. All courses were excellent especially the brulee which was amazing! A must try! The byo makes this restaurant even better value. I'll be back again and again.

I love the Victoria Room. It is one of my favourite places in Sydney and a "must do" for anyone visitng Sydney. The British Raj decor is sensational. Such a lovely ambience, I could sit there for hours. The food is gorgeous. I don't think I've ever had a bad dish. The rose martini is also delicious. I plan to go back there again and again.

I've been to Fratelli Paradiso a few times and have never really understood the hype. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and I've always had pretty good service but the food is a real let down for me. I've always found it to be average and often quite small portions for the prices charged. Tonight I had the calamari which was too chewy bordering on inedible (I now have a sore jaw), the lasagne which was mediocre and Tiramisu which was definitely the highlight of the meal. Won't be coming back in a hurry but it seems to be packed all the time so obviously I'm just not seeing the appeal or just always order the wrong dishes!

Despite some of the average reviews on this site, I really like Wild Sage and will keep going back there again and again. I really like the food there especially the slow cook lamb, the steak and the stuffed chicken, delicious! The salmon scrambled eggs and the tomato, basil and feta omlette for breakfast are also great options.

They offer BYO on certain nights of the week which can help to reduce the cost of your meal. I find the atmosphere enticing and the staff friendly. I think the food is quite good value for how delicious it is.

I really like Firefly. It's such a cute little tapas bar/wine bar in a gorgeous location overlooking the water at Walsh Bay. It's a bit more peaceful than the Circular Quay area. The cocktails are great and the tapas is delicious. I like the duck pancakes and the pizzas are delicious. Service can be a bit slow at times but it's a lovely spot to relax on a nice summer day or evening.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very nice. We ordered the Goan Fish Curry and a lamb dish with yoghurt. They were both delicious! The food is very reasonable considering that it is so tasty.

The staff were very friendly and the decor of the restaurant is inviting. There are pretty colourful tablecloths and beautiful photos of Nepal on the wall. I will be going back and definitely recommend this restaurant!

I previously wrote a good review of this restaurant but I went back there for a second time today and didn't have such a great experience.

Good points: The staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice with white table cloths, French bistro style wicker chairs and lovely photos of Paris on the wall.

Bad points: I had the $26 two course lunch deal and, while both of my courses were nice, my quiche lorraine main was quite a bit smaller than the serving I received last time at this restaurant. My dining companion had the fish and chips and while the fish was nice, her chips were overcooked and were barely edible. I ordered a diet coke and noticed that I was charged $5.50 for it on the bill! I can't even imagine that a five star restaurant would charge that much for a soft drink! I don't think we'll be back again.

Gosh I'm finding it difficult to find a great Mexican restaurant in Sydney. Borderland was pretty mediocre. My favourite part of the meal was probably the Margarita. The main and entree were fairly average and tasted like something I could have prepared at home even though I've never cooked Mexican food before. The atmosphere was just ok and the service was pretty average. I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back.

I love this little place. Yes, you have to queue for a table, go to the counter to order your food and sit on low stools but my goodness the food is lovely! It's definitely not the kind of place to go if you're keen to linger for hours but it's perfect for a nice dinner before a few drinks elsewhere or a play at the Tap Gallery nearby.

The Salt and Pepper Squid is probably the best I've ever had, the Prawn Curry is also delicious and the Chicken dishes are also very nice. The Duck and Prawn Pancakes are lovely! Actually, I don't think I've ever had a bad dish here. I hope to go back again soon!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The Goan Fish Curry was delicious and I really liked the chicken dish we had, I can't recall the name but it is the Southern Indian take on Butter Chicken. The only dish that I wasn't too fussed on was a Pistachio Kufi for dessert. The ambience of the restaurant was nice though, with the black and white Indian photos on the wall. I'll be back again soon!
