What a difference to the other eating houses at Faifield RSL. Had yum cha here the other Saturday and were very disappointed. Service was ordinary as we had to keep asking for the waitress to bring the trolley around (of which there were only 2). Soft drinks that were served were very small glasses filled with way too much ice and hardly any soft drink. We asked for a side serving of fresh chilli with soy sauce which we never got.

The scallop dumpling was the only thing that was good, we couldn't eat the pork as it tasted funny and full of bones and the siu mai was overcooked and tasted only of pork.

Lastly we had spring rolls and when the waitress brought them out she stood there talking to another waitress holding the plate of spring rolls only 10-15cm from her face for about 5 minutes, well we didn't really feel like eating after watching that.

Ambience would have been ok but the lights kept going out and we were left in darkness to eat, top it of over $40 for 6 very average dishes. Never again!

Went for Christmas dinner celebrations with 16 work colleagues and had the $50 middle eastern banquet. Absolutely fabulous food and way too much. Very attentive service and good value for money. Will look at booking another function there again.

We have been to quite a few yum cha restaurants in cabramatta and I find that Golden Harvest to be the freshest and tastiest of them all. Service has always been excellent and the food always hot. It is nice to have different items and most times there has been something new to try, pippies in oyster sauce, Yum and not the usual yum cha fare.

Iron Chef used to be our restaurant of choice and since eating at Golden Harvest, we haven't been back. I suggest you take the ordinary reviews with a grain of salt and give it a try yourself.

Wow! We went to La Tratt for a birthday dinner last night and for the first time I am lost for words to express my delight with this restaurant. From the beginning with sitting in the lounge with an aperetif and risotto balls to the mouthwatering, wanting more, tasting dessert plate. Our gracious waiter, who's name escapes me, organised our request of a entree degustation type meal with matching wines.

The service of our dishes were timed to perfection as they were executed and allowed us to go out and have a sneaky cigarette only to find our napkins had been refolded and water glasses refilled on our return. I will be telling anyone who is prepared to listen of this fabulous establishment. Compliments to Fairfield RSL for having this sensational place to dine.

Have just come back from a lunch with a large group (30)from work. The food was fresh, light and yummy and in abundance! The service was sensational and I will definitely be back again! The lunchtime set menu is a must!

Went here for a team lunch and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent and they allowed us to pay separately which is very unusual nowadays. Had the grilled chicken salad that had the perfect amount of dressing and heaps of chicken cooked perfectly. Definitely be back!

We had lunch here with a group of 10. We pre ordered and within minutes of sitting down our meals come out. Lunch time portions were of good size and the freshness and presentation was great. I think some of the guest found the dishes that are not normally spicy in other restaurants were a lot more at Thai Waterfront. My chilli basil was the perfect heat without having to ask for extra chilli and it was nice to see fresh basil in the dish. Will definitely be back again.

I just wanted to add a comment in regards to Davo's at the Sports Club as mentioned by egeek, that it is no where near the standard of the original Davo's! The "veal" is actually minute steak and we have had food that is either overcooked (salmon) or undercooked (chicken). Now that the Nuwarra restaurant has opened as Enzo's I hope we will see some more modern takes on the old menu.

8 colleagues and myself went there today for lunch booked and pre-ordered 30mins before arrival, food arrived 10mins after we got there in the right order and with the right drinks. Special requests were catered for ( I like my chicken basil HOT!) and everyone commented on how nice their meal was and great value for money. Will definitely be back.

I came here with a few work colleagues for lunch and must say that we will definitely be back here again! We had the lunch special and it was great value for money. The service was excellent and only one thing I can say negatively was that when our waiter asked if we wanted our meals spiced up a few of us said yes but they came out mild but who cares it was yum!
