I came here to catch up with few friends today before going overseas. Beautiful weather and nice location, we all very glad to find this place.

Food is alright and I don't really expect much here. However, I have to rate this as the second worst services I have been given in any restaurants in Sydney. And very sadly, not only the waiter but also his senior staff when we logged the complaint. I doubt if any restaurant owners would like to get a senior staff who told the customers 'I am very busy, I have to sort things out with few other tables' while your customer is logging a complaint.

We have been given 15% discount, we just need people to have some right attitude to apologise/explain, money is not the solution! Looking at the review, I am not the only one who complain the service in the restaurant, something is seriously wrong in this restaurant.

Came here for lunch during the long weekend. Am glad that I took the waitress's recommendation for the spatch cock, it is very delicious. Very tendered, the sauce comes very well with it and the presentation of the dish is just great! My friend ordered lamb and he said it is very delicious and soft!

The portions are big enough for us, I wish I can have a bigger stomach that can fill the dessert. One thing to criticise is that when my other friend pointed out one of the 'thing' in his dish and asked 'What is it? It tastes very good?' The waitress cannot tell and just walk away. However, the first waitress we have for ordering is very helpful.

I wish I can have the Spatch Cock again now, it has to be another visit to Hunter. But I will definitely come back and recommend this place for my friends!

Came here with a group of friends and we ordered the 'secret' Fix me up - 6 courses menu.
1. Oxysters - they are good but 1 piece per person is not quite enough
2. Fennel Salad - want more cheese please
3. Grilled Salmon and soft eggs salad - soft eggs are good but the salmon are not fresh enough
4. Tuna Crudo - it is good
5. Grilled chicken - we all think this is the best dish. However one of my friend found it is a bit not well cooked
6. Dessert: Espresso Granita with Hazelnuts - I am a desert fan but I have to say I dont like it.

Service is not very impressive though I understand they are busy, we are paying for services as well.

I would say better to order the main course on the menu rather than going for the secret menu.

Re the Fennel Salad, it's a fennel salad not a cheese salad.

Re the Salmon, it comes in fresh every day and is not grilled but slow cooked.

Re the Spatchcock, it is always cooked through. If the table felt it needed to be cooked more then we would've been happy to cook it further for you.

Considering the 6 course menu is only $54 per person for 4 entrees, a main and dessert we believe that the quantities are more then ample.

I'm sorry you didn't love the experience. I can only ask now that next time you aren't completely satisfied you give us a chance to rectify the problem on the night.

I came here for my birthday party, staff is very helpful and considerate. Food is great and worth its value! Dessert is a must! I am very happy that I chose a very good restaurant for my birthday and all of my guests like this place, will revisit for sure!
