The modestly named 'Prawn dumpling' is infact a golf ball of gorgeous, fresh, succulent prawn meat caked in a light cornflake type crumb and fried to perfection! Little sprinkling of green tea salt and we are in heaven!... read more at my blog

The Wayside Inn is a little gem! A happy place on City Road to enjoy a drink in the sunshine or some impressive restaurant food.

The bar menu is good and the restaurant menu sounds fantastic And they are happy to let us order off the restaurant menu in the bar, it’s the small things that make this a great place.

The staff are gorgeous, lovely and friendly and helpful, they make you want to come back very soon! And the food….. soooo good! The Burgers are a little stack of wonder!... read more at my blog

The staff are super lovely! Totally relaxed, bit of humour, knowledgeable and all round masters of great service! The menu is great! Plenty of sharing plates for me and my foodies and then some damn good sounding risotto, pasta and steaks!

We are sharing up a storm today! We start with the padron peppers all charred and salty, there is a bit of a tussle for the last ones!.. read more at my blog

Can Smith Street get any cooler? I find myself drawn here every week to try another brilliant place to eat!

Easy Tiger is pretty special, there is a homeliness and comfort whilst looking super stylish! The welcome lily flower tea settles you in to browse through a wonderful menu with street food bites, salads and curries. The banquets sound really good and very reasonable but we are creating our own tonight! Click here for menu.

The street food list is all too tempting so, we get them all!

Taro crisps with chilli salt are gorgeous, we are happily tucking in whilst we get into the 2011 Valere Riesling, winemaker Mr Valentine’s first baby is wonderful!... read more at my blog

Its a gorgeous summers evening when we head to the back of the Albert Park Hotel, uncharted territory for us the recently renovated restaurant is just gorgeous! Comfortable, welcoming and with a lovely looking open courtyard and fishes swimming above the kitchen pass.

It’s the Albert Park Oyster Bar & Bistro so oysters we shall have, with 7 on the menu we go for a mixed dozen with, Tom Thumb, Clair de Lune, Rusty Wire and Label Rouge all from NSW Batemans Bay…. Wow! Read more at my blog

Friends of mine is a lovely place! The staff are so sweet and nice, coffees, water, menus – all delivered with pleasure!

The coffee is fab, I had the dangerous second and even though I will be bouncing off the walls they were just too good not to indulge! read more at my blog

Another addition to the great places to hang in Kew! And this one does a wonderful coffee!

Not long opened and looking good! Gorgeous decor and love the big bright yellow aeroplane – Percy’s probably! And the matching yellow coffee machine! The menu is a good mix of easy going dishes for lunch, flat breads filled with lamb and feta and chicken and stuffing, big boy homemade sausage rolls, salads and sandwiches but we cannot go paste Percy’s special pot pie!.. read more at my blog

The Chicken Kiev croquettes are really, Really good! Super crunchy with gorgeous oozing garlic butter hidden inside! Sooooooo good! Mains all sound amazing, the menu is amazing! And everyone at the table orders something different! Testament to how good a choice and how good it all sounds!

Yummy noises have already started from across the table with the ‘House smoked salmon fillet with shaved heirloom radish, potato, egg and kefir dressing’. I get to trade a taste and it is gorgeous, great depth of smokiness and gorgeously fresh fish that has obviously been prepared with love!.. read more at my blog

The menu is funny! It is also packed full of amazing food but it is also funny! A big plastic board with everything on labelmaker strips! Enjoy the chai latte, Carma Sutra! Coco pops with milk, plenty of bagel action and a note not to leave the kids in the car!

It is a bagel lovers haven, bagels with all sorts of fillings! But first lets talk coffee.... read more at my blog
