I like the concept but very poorly executed with too many tables for the space and staff to cope with. The food itself was awful and over priced for what it turned out to be and the overall service well below average. We waited 50 minutes for the starters and a further 30 for the mains. The chowder had the consistency and flavour of dish water. The Crawfish was nothing more than a dollop of gluggy white rice and some sort of strange brown sauce with a Yabbie perched on top.

The fish taco's were nothing more than a couple of fish fingers in a pitta bread with a bit of cabbage which had gone brown. Very disappointed but having said that we did enjoy a nice bottle of red and a bottle of Samuel Adams.

I really like this place, the staff try so hard. Exceptional selection of european beers on tap, affordable wine list and a knockout variety of Indian, Malaysian and Nepalese curries. Really love ordering the Chicken Tikka with Pappadums and dips. Goes really well with a big refreshing half litre of Bavarian Beer. Yum!

This place had great promise when it opened to create an enjoyable wine bar in Neutral Bay. They have a great selection of wines but prices are very high - especially obvious now there are many new restaurants opening with great offerings. We have returned there on quite a few occasions just because its the only option if you just fancy a glass of wine & don't want to go to the Oaks.

Service has always been a bit hit & miss, as has the food - really inconsistent. We have had a few good meals there, and some really dodgy ones (e.g. had the mini wagyu burgers last week, which I have had before & loved but last week they had so much garlic in the meat that I was sick for 2 days) - and definitely stay clear of the zucchini chips. With so much potential its quite disappointing.

I enjoyed the bar area upstairs before a nice meal downstairs. Brilliant service, nice menu, huge starter portions, attractive decor. Only thing that puts me off going again is that the music was on repeat and became a bit annoying as I knew what song was coming next. Great selection of music lads, but lets either change the CD more often or find a longer tape.

Not a bad spot for dinner. Been here many times and never had a bad experience. The lady who owns the place is quite charming if not a little mad at the same time!

An exceptional restaurant. Been here 3 times now and the food gets better and better, can't fault it. Great wine list with plenty of variety for every taste and budget. Only markdown is the fickle service you receive. If your lucky enough to be looked after by the man with the Dali moustache the experience is all 10/10. On the other hand the remainder of the floor staff don't seem to be able to cope under pressure of a busy restaurant and leave quite a bit to be desired.

I had high expectations of this restaurant after two great recommendations. Waiters were cheerful, but less than attentive, I actually had to ask to get my wine glass refilled since they kept the bottle away from the table. Food was reasonably tasty, but definitely nothing exceptional, and it was really quite expensive. Won't be rushing back.

Probably the worst tapas restaurant I've ever had the miss fortune to waste my time and money on. It was truly more tapass than tapas. Boiled potatoes chucked in the deep fat fryer passed as chat potatoes. Chicken wings that made me want to wash my teeth. Chorizo that was also warmed in the deep fat fryer. You're better off at KFC for a more satisfying healthier tastier meal.

Absolutely awful and expensive. Pity was that the deep fried potatoes passed off as Chat were probably the best part of the whole experience! Truly awful and over priced. The good folk of Camden deserve better than this trash, we're not that naive!

I love a decent curry and I love the Malabar. The chef/owner 'Mo' takes great pride in his creations which are made with love and out of this world. If it's a special occasion, he'll let you wear his big ceremonial turban and have your picture taken with the Gujarati royal family! If you've been hard pressed looking for a decent curry, give 'Mo's' a go!

Without a doubt, my number one pub in Sydney. Warm, friendly and homely. Just how a pub should be. You won't find any polished chrome or knuckle-draggers in this joint. Just alot of fun times that will keep you coming back for more!
