Firstly mici80, (review below) the Khin Do and the one in Griffith you mentioned are run by the same people! You have to admit the food is great at Khin Do, we don't even look at the menu the owner just brings out dishes of wonderful tasty Vietnamese dishes. We have followed him from when he was at OÇonner, then Civic and now here. The premises do need a lick of paint and re-decoration and as they are would normally put me off a restaurant but the food makes it a happy and satisfying eat-in experience.

If you want to weekend brunch somewhere without hustle and bustle, no dogs and enjoy a relaxing morning then this cafe is great. With a small and simple menu, friendly staff, and a covered outside eating section means I just keep on going back. The Greek sweets are also great to take home afterwards.

$5:20 for a mug of skim milk coffee is steep. Only white bread available (Yuk!) with breakfast menus both times I have been there for brunch. Mothers Day 2009 was a shocker with only the 'special' very expensive menu available (we were not informed of this when we booked) and, with the credit card facility out of order, and no bill splitting made for a major negative feeling about the place. Too expensive for what is provided and needs some competition. Lovely surroundings spoiled by a rip-off establishment. I won't be going there again.
