Had a birthday dinner at Effendy with a group of 10 friends. Great ambience, modern Turkish food and very classy restaurant. Excellent service and value for money.

Great food, and great and authentic Turkish ambience. Kazan dibi (baked pudding), Marash Kebab and home made ice-cream are top quality. Highly recommended if planning on going out with family, friends or even having a business lunch/dinner or meeting that special someone for the first time! Service could be better, many staff struggle with English and are a little bit slow, you do occasionally hear the dishes being accidentally dropped somewhere in the background.

I have been to Balkan Eatery a couple of times, it's location is great for people who work in the nearby areas, very easy to find and park in the surrounding streets. Balkan Eatery has cosy, however, great ambience, and most of all the food is tasty and Bosnian authentic. I tried the cheese and spinach pie and stuffed capsicum.

The pies are great, pastry is amazingly thin and it virtually melts in your mouth. The capsicum was great, loved the mix of herbs and the flavour of the sauce. I would highly recommend Balkan Eatery to anyone particularly if you are after home made warm food and something to eat with the spoon.
