Carnivore dream come true! All you can eat lean and fatty red/poultry/odd bits of pineapple and cheese with complimentary side dishes of baked cheesey potato, marinated rice, salsa, peri peri sauce, braised black bean stew and herbed bread crumbs.

Service is pretty good as the waiters will come around with swords of meat every 10 minutes or so, however getting the attention of non-meat bearing waiters is difficult, say if you'd like a drink or are ready for dessert.

For $35 per head, this is great value for those who love meat and can eat a lot. For vegetarians or small eaters, not so much good value. Try their chilli chicken, chicken sausage, chorizo, glazed mustard ham, and don't go past the grilled cinnamon pineapple as it is to die for!

Creme caramel dessert is also a real treat and only $10 for a decent portion. Bookings recommended as sometimes there is a queue of 20 patrons waiting to be seated.

No time limit, so you can sit there for 3 hours and consume 5kg of protein if you wish vis using the simple system of turning a card over green for yes, feed me and red for no thanks, I'll pass.

Pretty average, but you can't expect too much when you visit a "Japanese" restaurant run by Korean chefs.

Yes the food comes in large portions and it probably is good value if quantity is your priority but there's nothing flash here other than your standard tempura/sushi/katsu etc. I was quite disappointed with the eel on rice, it tasted frozen and it was obviously microwaved and not made fresh. This place offers convenience for the times where you crave a cheap bento box and can't be bothered going to other suburbs with authentic Japanese food made by Japanese chefs with pure Japanese flavors.

A wonderful fun experience. Svens is quite small and can only seat approximately 30 patrons at full capacity but the ambience is quirky with animal pelts (reindeer according to the waitress I asked) hung up on the walls, along with swords, armor and helmets with horns. Tables are made of heavy wood and some of the seats are thousand year old tree trunks sanded down to a smooth polish.

Food is limited in variety, pizza, a few salads, complimentary "pizza salad" comprised of cabbage marinated in herbs and vinegar, a few desserts and an alcoholic list of beverages.

We tried the "ODIN" and "THOR" pizzas along with a garlic bread which ended up being served as a garlic pizza (no cheese). Svens have a unique base which is not crunchy nor yeasty in taste. It is thin, soft and light. Toppings are scarcely scattered on top of their light pizza bases and every bite has about 4 dimensions of simplistic but strong flavors. Although oily, their pizza flavors are very unique, and I'm keen to return to try other toppings.

Food came out fast and wait staff are very obliging and efficient. Definitely recommended.

Scrap the notion of Nikko being "Japanese and Korean". All staff at Nikko are Korean and 90% of the food offered is Korean. Why Nikko choose to project this "But We are Half Japanese" image is beyond me, as I think they shouldn't be ashamed to admit their restaurant is Korean and solely Korean. When you see japchae, sea food pancake, mandu and bibimbap on the menu, you Know you're not eating at a Japanese restaurant.

Nikko are great at making good Korean food in generous portions. The service is friendly and efficient. Worth a try, but don't expect authentic Japanese food here.

This place reminds me of a better, cleaner version of a similar restaurant down the road, Shalom.

Same style of DIY ordering, service, food, and surroundings. Basically it is "fancy instant noodles" topped with chicken or pork mince and a bit of veggies on the side. That is their specialty. Unfortunately, there is no wow factor with the food created at Buck Me.

The name of the place also sounds slightly offensive, but being an Indonesian restaurant, I think it was harmlessly coincidental. I don't think I'll be returning, even though this place is about three times better than what I experienced at the other similar restaurant down Anzac Parade.

Wow! excellent food and great value for money. We always walked past this place because it doesn't really stand out, but this morning we gave them a go and it was so worth it.

The chicken burger was great and the fillet was similar to an oporto fillet but had a tangy marinade to it as well as the fine bread crumb coating. All their chicken products are from a premium chicken brand.

I had their big breakfast (eggs, bacon, tomato, toast, tea) and was a bit fussy asking for my eggs done a particular way, and everything I asked for was done perfectly. I'd definitely return for another breakfast or brunch feast.

They have a couple of tables inside and outside, and the ambience is very casual. As well as burgers and breakfast, they also offer fish and chips, charcoal chicken, roast meats and vegetables, a Huge selection of salads and a couple of sweet treats to finish your meal.

Trivia fact: The world's largest burger - 95.5kg - was made at at Ambrosia on the Spot at Randwick in June 2010. The burger required 81 kg of mince, 120 eggs, 16 tomatoes, 120 cheese slices, 2kg of lettuce, 21kg of bread and half a kilo of barbecue sauce.

Average. Mediocre. So-So. Blah. Nice surroundings, friendly service but food is disappointing and bland. Tried their rice with rendang, chicken, vegetables etc and grilled chicken and fried fresh rice noodle. Noodle dish was good, but didn't have the "wok" flavour which normally comes with this particular dish.

Rendang beef curry was horribly bland and dilute in flavour. Chicken was ok, but again, lacked that explosion of marinade flavour. Es Cendol drink was served warm with one ice cube so not the best on our encounter.

After the meal I picked up a few goodies from their selection of sweet cakes and fried savoury pastries. Stay away from the curry puff. It is filled with left over bubble and squeak. The rissole is delicious and I would return just to buy a couple of these for a quick snack. Sweet cakes are all good.

Kura is probably the smallest Japanese restaurant I've ever eaten in with a maximum seating capacity of around 12 people within an area the size of a bathroom. Eating in means crowded in and claustrophobic so for those who wish to try kura out of curiosity, it's probably better to just get take away.

Staff were very organised and asked us to pre-order before we sat down inside to make the duration of stay shorter so the next customers waiting can be seated as soon as we have our last spoonful of food. I felt rushed by the head waitress (perhaps the owner?) as she kept watching me like a hawk to check how much I had left in my bowl.

We tried the gyoza and karaage chicken and seaweed salad as well as the little fish shaped pancakes for dessert with green tea ice cream. The gyoza was disappointing as I realised they use pre-packed frozen dumplings, dip them in batter and deep fry them - not like other places which hand make gyoza with fresh ingredients making the taste to much lighter and fresh. Both the gyoza and chicken had that "old oil" taste which spoilt the flavour of our meal.

The fish shaped pancakes filled with red bean were absolutely delicious and would probably be the only thing i recommend from Kura. Give the green tea ice cream a miss. Very crude in flavour and just not up to scratch. Kura is cheap, but not spectacular in terms of quality and flavour.

Living in the eastern suburbs, Iron Chef is a fair car ride away from home, but for yum cha, this place is impressive in terms of food, service and value.

Servings are very generous compared to a majority of other yum cha places, especially the steamed dishes! We tried the steamed pork rib and most places only give about two scoops of meat but this place was overflowing the plate with well seasoned pork pieces.

I love their taro dumplings as they have chicken mince instead of pork mince inside and the taro layer is very creamy and fresh. The only dish I found disappointing was the prawn dumplings, the prawns were heavily flavoured with garlic it overpowered everything else so it was more like a garlic flavoured dumpling with prawn.

Service was fast and we happen to have polite wait staff attend to us, mind you this was not during the rush hour weekend yumcha session, this was during the week. Value wise, we were pleasantly surprised when our bill came, we estimated $60 but ended up with a $40 bill for three people.

What a hidden gem! Great thai food at competitive prices. I love their entree selection. their satay chicken is So good and comes covered in a thick peanut sauce that has the right amount of sweetness to it.

Their stir fried noodles were great (we tried pad see ew) and packed full of fresh vegetables and meat. Service is friendly and the staff are very quick to bring out what you've ordered. Definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in the Randwick junction vicinity.
