Having a bad day at work? Book Blackwater and you'll finish on a high. Pumpkin seed bread is a must and choose an entree from garlic prawns, carpaccio and anything on the seasonal menu. Try the gnocchi, pear and parmesan risotto, lamb shanks on creamy polenta or a sensational rib eye. The ambience is great, beautiful views of the water and farewell Black Beauty, you'll be back soon.

For a slice of South American heaven by the bay, a great place to visit the neighbours for meats, fruit and veg. and then take your pick from Sugarloaf's treats. Churros, mince beef and olive empandas, portuguese tarts and don't forget a coffee! Readers, leave your enclave and make the trip.

I travel to enjoy a fabulous sunday breakfast, the team are always bright and the coffee provides a great kick start to the day. I highly recommend the single pan breakfast, the salmon eggs benedict is amazing and if you can't choose between those, have an omelette. All served without a side dish of attitude which makes this cafe a standout from its special neighbours.

Onesta Cucina's menu that will take you on a vespa ride of italian food. Pan fried scallops, crumbed lambs brains, a sirloin sending one diner to carnivore heaven. For a Bowral winter, osso bucco on pea puree with gremolata was brilliant and the end of the table was raving about the rabbit cannelloni. Don't forget the dolci, a custard and fig tart with vanilla bean ice cream with a sneaky macchiato was the perfect finale. Bravo Luke and the team!
