Came here very last minute, as we weren't bothered to drive further. Service was polite but very, very slow. I don't see how they would cope with a full restaurant. Food was ok, your average Japanese. Decent servings and prices are a bit higher than other local joints. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but I probably wouldn't be back.

When I go to Chinese restaurants for dinner, I like receiving dishes in its entirety and set on the table for everyone to help themselves, I didn't like the fact that some dishes were individually portioned, especially crab or lobster dishes. Definitely not good value for money. Paid close to $70 per head, but didn't seem like there was much. Have paid much cheaper for heaps more dishes elsewhere.

Food is average. Service is adequate and available when needed.

Very lovely dishes and servings are definitely more plentiful then most tapas restaurants. We ordered the sangria punch and after just a small sip, we realised we should have gone with the sangria deluxe - assuming the deluxe would have been their more alcoholic version. Sangria punch was just too weak, tasted like soft drink.

Not a place for a romantic date as it does get very loud, but perfect for a good and satisfying dinner before heading out on a friday or saturday night. Will continue to return.

Crazy Wings, Haymarket

The skewers are actually quite decent. Perfect with beer and/ or cold drinks. Seems cheap, but does add up once you start ordering a whole bunch of different things.

The service is shocking though. The waiters huddle at the front, chit chatting away to one another with their backs facing the restaurant. You have to perform a dance routine to get their attention in this place. Also, it seems like 'regulars' can walk straight in and sit down at a table, even though there are people waiting to be seated. The waiters don't even bat an eyelid.

Definitely the first thing that puts me off this place is the long queue. Secondly, once inside, I would notice they tend to keep (cleaned) tables empty for quite a while before they allow people in. Considering they have a whole line of people waiting outside, you'd think they would quickly get people in, the moment a table frees up. Marketing ploy maybe?

Onto the food. Good roti varieties, although my favourite is still the roti canai. The main dishes are nice and filling so don't order too many of these, save room for the roti.

Service is prompt and food doesn't take long to come out.

A nice, cosy and intimately lit tapas restaurant. A good place for couples or a few close friends to get together. Tables are fairly close to one another, so I wouldn't recommend it for first dates, as conversations may be overheard by surrounding tables. Service is casual, but still attentive.

Food was lovely, at just the right amount. Menu is more inspiring than other tapas restaurants I have been to as well. Sangria was too sweet for my liking, but still nice. Gets quite busy on friday nights and weekends, so an alternative would be to dine mid week plus they have sangria jugs for $15 from tuesdays to thursdays.

Friendly service and a cheery chef that never fails to greet you when you enter this little eatery. We've tried the Japanese and Korean food on our multiple visits here and all have been lovely. Good place for a quick, but honest and tasty meal.

We shared the platter so we were able to try a bit of everything. I enjoyed the schnitzel, which was very nice and surprisingly the ham was not bad either. The pork belly was nice and crispy, not the best i've had, but not terrible either. Negatives were the sausages which seemed kind of bland and the mash potato which was very dry.

Came here for lunch not really expecting much, but was surprisingly impressed. Big portions at reasonable cafe prices and the waiters were more than happy to change a few things upon my request. The place is clean and because it was during lunchtime, it was not noisy or too busy as it would be for dinner. Recommended for those after a large meal for lunch.

Service was flakey, but one of the waiters was very helpful. He explained to us what some of the dishes consisted of and the portion size of each one as well. Thanks to him, I knew what were hot and cold dishes, and was able to order accordingly. Food was average though, but I did love the crispy school prawns.

They also don't seem to respond to messages left on their phone, so making reservations may be a bit hard.
