Great food as you would expect. Good service as you would expect. Nice ambience. Even the occasional famous face would appear. A very enjoyable night out.

The only thing I would say that I found awkward was eating in the dark outside. Just a tad more light please so I can see what I'm eating. Highly recommend the dessert even if you can't fit it in. They even do a good, satisfying pot of loose leaf tea, a mark of a good all around restaurant. Would definitely go back again.

Booked in for a mid-week meal for a special occasion. We were the only couple in the entire restaurant, so felt a little awkward. The waiter we had was absolutely professional. Pity about his colleague who kept pacing the restaurant with obviously nothing to do. Food, however, was delicious (duck entree was nice) and worth the slight awkwardness. Furnishings were impressive. Worth trying, it has promise.

Food was a taste sensation. Absolutely worth going out for. Might need a little work on the rice, though. Seemed a little stale, but works well when you mix it in with the sauce. Wait staff were generally friendly, ambience was satisfactory. Will return when the desire for good Thai returs.

Food was remarkably inventive and delicious.
Nice atmosphere - classy, though buzzy.
Only negative point was having to wait for over 30mins after the amouse bouche course for the next course.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Very warm, friendly and hospitable and a little bit of character. Loved the decor, interesting and quirky table decorations and hand drawn pictures on the wall from customers was an interesting touch.

Food was quite generous and hearty, hit the spot! Always enjoy watching the new table settings which seem to change often.

Would definitely return and happily would recommend to anyone wanting a pleasant evening meal.

After the initial disappointment of the lack of ambience, we had a nice time once we lowered our expectations.

Food was nice, though nothing to write home about and was probably the biggest disappointment. Sake and umeshu was delicious, though delivered in a chipped sake cup.

The ultimate shock was watching the evening's rubbish get wheeled out through the restaurant while there were still 3 groups of customers in the restaurant eating.

Another curious occurence was watching the kitchen staff walk out through the front door in a mass exodus, then watching them walk back in. Suffice to say that we probably won't be back unless we had to.

This restaurant is special for us. The ambience and charm of the restaurant takes you back to an era where luxury and service go hand in hand. It really does feel like you've been transported to a different century!

Food is absolutely exquisite and worth the price you pay given you are wanting a sumptuous meal. Service is great, always attentive and polite.
