Normally really good but waited for takeaway coffee for half an hour this morning and ended up walking out empty handed after staff seemed miffed when I asked if they had missed my order. Used to pop in every morning on way to work but won't bother anymore.

We only had a drink here on Saturday afternoon so I can't comment on the food. Amazing view but if you are after somewhere with a bit of class forget it. Service was shocking too.

Service with an attitude and one particular senior member of staff who is down-right nasty spoil what should otherwise be a top little neighbourhood cafe.

I've just moved to this neighbourhood and was initially excited about this popular cafe. Good coffee for a start. Until I met the senior staff/kitchen staff. Incredibly rude. My friend asked for jam to go with his toast and was sneered at, abused and told that he should have ordered the condiment when he made the initial order. We were all shocked and won't be going back. The other staff were nice.

Great ambience, very good service, excellent wine but the food was well below par on your average pub grub. Go for a drink. Skip the meal.

The location is the obvious drawcard but not much else going for this restaurant. I have been three times and service has been consistently average if not bordering on rude. After being kept waiting this morning for 15 minutes for a table by one waitress, the stressed out senior staff snapped at his staff in front of us and said she should not have given us the table in the first place.

I have visited this restaurant many times and keep coming back due to the great atmosphere, lovely staff and delicious (and good value) food. It was stinking hot when I visited last week but the Chinese beer goes perfectly with the Cantonese dishes. There are a lot of new restaurants opening up in Surry Hills but this still wins hands down as a reliable favourite.

Reasonable food, sharp service and stylish decor as expected with all the hype. But despite having a booking we still had to queue three times to have our name checked off on three different clipboards and be escorted to our table by three waitresses/bouncers (one of who demanded that people should talk in the lift). All a bit too much really.

A weighty wine list, great location and reasonable food was offset by terrible service. The waitresses were surly and while ordering drinks earlier at the bar seemed highly inconvenienced by our simple requests for drinks.
