I bought a large supreme pizza here on the weekend (Jul09). This is a benchmark dish for a good pizzeria. If they make this well it's a good sign. I'd heard good things about Gelbison and I wanted to see if the product matched the hype. Sadly it didn't. The pizza was disappointing. The tomato sauce on it was amazing but not enough to compensate for the overall lack of flavour. I'd probably go back to try out the menu, but not in a hurry.

Awesome Pizza. The Peri Peri Chicken is my fave. Moroccan Lamb and Garlic King Prawns are also delightful. There's a new Crust store near my place in Neutral Bay and it regularly has a queue out the door. I've heard that the owner of 'Melt', who won the award in NYC for the world's best pizza, is a partner in this new venture.

Enjoyed a tasty Nepalese meal at Mustang, but what stood out was the exceptional service. It was a quiet weeknight, and my first visit, and I wasn't expecting anything special. Our waiter was prompt and polite and every delicious course and drink was served with impeccable timing. Thumbs up!

Above average Thai. Portions are getting smaller but still taste great. The service is impeccable for a resturant in this price range. Word of mouth keeps this little gem very busy.

Ezzelinos, Neutral Bay

The strip of shops that Ezzelinos is amongst is infamous for lightning fast lease turnovers. They're here one day & gone the next. Ezzelinos remains due to the superb quality of their food. The pizza is especially good and the friendly and attentive staff make for a pleasurable dining experience.

The yeeros sold here are the size of footballs. I'm not kidding!, if you can finish one in under 20 minutes then you're eating too fast. They are fresh, tasty and inexpensive and if your weekend bender happens to include passing through Marrickville then this is the place to eat. One yeeros is ample fuel for 24 hours on the go. The service is friendly and swift, and the garlic sauce is mmm!

Mars is certainly worth visiting when clubbing in the CBD. All the staff are fantastic and so is the atmosphere. The crowd is an interesting mix of urban souls who seem a little preoccupied talking about their fantasies. Well it sure beats talking about the weather!

Housed in the old School of Arts building in Pitt St, The Arthouse is one of the better bars in the CBD. The layout is a little awkward as the bars & restaurant are operating in a very old building not designed for this purpose. The Attic on the 3rd floor is the pick of the bars but usually closes early. If you are not comfy with the slightly pretentious crowd, there are at least ten pubs nearby.

This must be the smallest bar in Sydney. It's packed on Monday nights when the whole venue is one giant bar queue. It's plenty of fun for backpackers and those who enjoy rubbing up against others. Not a good pickup joint cause it's incredibly noisy and by the time you can eventually buy someone a drink, their visa will have expired.

Excellent food. Pricey for pizza but worth every cent. The Cosmo is my favourite pie on the menu. Service is good and delivery is quick and cheerful. Now that Food 87 has closed, Marilyna's is my first choice for a quick local bite.
