Have been back on a number of occasions and the food has been very good and great value. Went here for the first time last week and will be returning. Food was excellent, soft shell crab and the teriyaki salmon. Service is efficient and the value is good.

Revisited for a Friday night dinner and it had improved so much on all levels so maybe my previous experience was a one off. Shared the scallops and they were just divine and followed by the fish of the day, my friend had the duck and neither of us could fault the dishes. Will be returning again.

Wednesday night dinner thought we would try the new venue in Balmain. Started well with pleasant and attentive staff and very tasty entrees but both our main courses were overpowered by a red wine jus which was disappointing. Will try again to see if this was just a one off incident.

Agree with most of the comments here about the service being very poor and the food does not make up for this. It is ok but not worth the price.

A friend had recommended this restaurant, and I am glad I went. The staff are great. The food is wonderful, we shared the steamed dumplings which were wonderful and the sashimi platter was amazing. Mains included a wonderful salmon and beef dish. Will definitely return.

Had a great meal on a Thursday night, the wonderful barramundi cooked in the 'bag' and a fantastic cheese plate. Love the idea that you can purchase 500ml of a wine and a great selection.

Went for my birthday recently and thought the overall experience was ok. Highlight for me was the scallops that were cooked to perfection but my main was average and just no wow factor. Amazing wine list and it is good to see some decent half bottles. I think other fine dining rooms are doing better quality food.

Have returned again for a birthday dinner and this time we went for the degustation which was perfect, service fantastic and interesting wines to match. Went for a friends birthday dinner and every thing was fantastic, food was exception and service was very professional and friendly. Wonderful experience for a special night out.

Have returned a couple of times more recently and had wonderful meals, service very good and overall a much better experiences. Wanted to treat a special friend to dinner on his return from OS but was disappointed that I chose this venue. Very limited menu and found the flavours quite dull and uninteresting with both of us not bothering to finish our main courses which very rarely happens. Won't bother again.

Went for a Sunday lunch and the setting was fantastic but the food is overpriced and not especially interesting which I expect for $45 mains. Entrees were the highlight - a basil and tomato soup and my friend the Calamari. Wine list is interesting but fairly limited by the glass. Service is pretty lacklustre as well. Won't return.
