We had dinner on sunday 30/10/2011, expecting a good quality Ramen, I ordered Ramen special @ $16.50 and my partner ordered the beef rib ramen @ $13.50. When ramen came out we both tasted broth which had sesame oil added to it something that "real" japanese ramen never has, the ramen noodles tasted like pasta, possibly the worst ramen we have ever eaten.

We will never go to a ramen franchise restaurant again. On Ramen down the same street would have been a wiser choice to go. Its actually expensive instant noodles Ajisen Ramen serves up!

Wanting a hot breakfast this cafe is not the place to be eating at... I ordered the corn fritters with bacon & toast which was all served cold. I could not believe it @ $13.50 my partner ordered the eggs benedict with salmon & sour dough $16.50 (which did not look like sour dough bread to us). Over-all food was not the best but service was quick... Luckily we had the entertainment book voucher which you get one meal free or else I will not be eating there. If I wanted a cold breakfast I would of just ate my cereal with milk.

My partner and I were shopping around maroubra so we stopped by the Golden Unicorn for yum cha, what a mistake! we had the chicken feet which was not juicy and soft, fried pork dumplings were tasteless and the prawn and chive dumplings were bland, the beef tripe was also bland. The only tasty food which was enjoyable was the salt and pepper crab with shell ($18.80) and pig blood, we are Chinese and go to yum cha regularly and this restaurant for Yum Cha will be blacklisted. We will remain having yum cha in the Chinatown area.

My partner and I had lunch today. I ordered the seafood paella for one @ ($36.50), my partner ordered the alaskan Bqq crab which was a con job @ ($35.00). My seafood paella was bland no taste of the saffron or the seafood flavoured rice what so ever. The alaskan crab was tasteless and dry served with a very small portion of chips and butter sauce. The alaskan crab was a major disappointment.

The portions given by this restaurant was very stingy, will be blacklisted and we shall never return. We would been happier eating KFC. The highlight of this restaurant the view of darling harbour.
