Eating at the Beenleigh Bowls Club is akin to pigs stepping up to the trough, yes it is $8 "all you can eat" on Sundays and I guess this appeals to a certain market but for me, the food was just awful. People were running back to load their plate and scoffing it down so fast they wouldn't know if it were good or bad. By the way, the food was awful.

The best Thai/Laotian food in Australia! Their food is absolutely heavenly. The service is abysmal but the food is to die for! I always walk away guilty because the food is sooo good and sooo cheap I feel like I ripped them off!

This restaurant is abysmal. There are too many tables in there and the service is awful. Food is MSG laden and overpriced!

This has to be a quintessential suburban Chinese restaurant but even in Chinatown it would kick butt with it's delightfully friendly atmosphere, none of the "pen gwei lou" attitude you get in Fortitude Valley Chinatown...this is real Chinese food, fresh and authentic and not only is the restaurant CLEAN, the kitchen is spotless! These people really care about their customers and year after year we've been going there and they are consistently high quality meals which is why they are so busy.

Very nice fish and chips but at restaurant prices. A real bearbug has been going there on public holidays to find them closed!

I go to this restaurant almost every day to buy iced teas, the jasmine tea is my favourite but the staff are happy to let you have a little taste of different flavours. There are no staff here, just family members working in the family business which adds to the quaint atmosphere compared to the pretentious and overpriced Western restaurants and unfriendly and filthy Chinese restaurants in the area.

I love sitting next to the window watching the world go by. They do a beautiful Pad Thai, drunken noodles and I love their Silver Charm noodles. The staff are so friendly and passionate about Thai food, always happy to explain dishes and make suggestions. This is authentic thai food, not the sugar laden stuff most places serve!

I ate in this restaurant once and though it looked like it needed a good clean and a tradesman friend who later did some repair work there told me the kitchen was filthy. The food is laden with MSG. I'm white but can understand Cantonese and the proprietor made disparaging remarks about my wife and myself until I confronted him about it...in Cantonese...needless to say we won't be going back!!!

All the BBQ in the window is really, really good though not exactly bargain priced. Dining in is awful as the meals are never the same from one visit to the next, mostly because the staff can't speak English.
