I have to disagree with some of the comments and say that in my opinion this is one of the best little Thai restaurants in Sydney. I always find the food to be delicious. The servings are big. Not too pricey - actually cheaper than most restaurants especially in this area which is what you'd expect from a Thai restaurant. I can't fault the waitresses here - they are fast, polite and helpful. The ambience is fine it overlooks 5-ways, plenty to look at out the big windows. We've had two birthdays here in the upstairs room which is good for a party and has a balcony with a view. We always take guests to Sydney to this place and everyone loves it. I would rate this as my favourite restaurant in Sydney. I live nearby so it's really my local favourite, you probably have something similar near you (good Thai place I mean). I wouldnt travel across town for it I guess but as a local place, it's great! Totally recommended!

Haven't eaten there so can't comment on the food. For live music it's one of the best venues in Sydney. Free admission always usually 3-4 bands per night. The bands start later about 9-10 pm because it's open till 3 am. Friendly, helpful barstaff and management. Kind of a student crowd, lots of cute chicks. Not a flash pub, down to earth, roomy, friendly, good music, unpretentious people and staff. One of the best, worth a look if a band you like is on.

It has been recently renovated and changed a lot. The pool tables, carpets and most of the TVs are gone. Now more of a trendy suit bar than the corner pub it used to be. I'm a bit concerned about all the smoking there - clouds of smoke in a small space. However, the simple effective decor is an improvement and there are loads of attractive chicks there now - must be a decor thing, flash your pub up a bit and they all come running. Generally an improvement though now a different more up-market crowd than before. Service is very efficient and quick. Attractive bar staff.

I don't rate this place at all. Poser bar. The music is commercial. See how they got the name Queue Bar - you can see the queue outside. If you like waiting in a huge queue for commercial music and pool hall decor, this is the place for you. Sad.

I liked it after coming out of a club, it was open until 6! Well done. The top floor have a lot of people dancing like a club but not so pretentious at about 5 am. Pretty good, I thought. I'll be back.

I have to add I found the door staff rude and unwelcoming here. It's the size of a two story terrace house. It was a black box with no decor and no seats - kind of like a standup party in someones lounge room. The bar was small, crowded and expensive. The worst thing was they advertised a Rock n Roll night and the music wasn't rock and neitehr were the people - filled with to me looked like eastern suburbs schoolkids - for a supposed hot new venue it was so lame. It's was free to go there but you would have to pay me to ever set foot in this place again.
