Been awhile since I have eaten here and it has gone downhill. Service exceptionally slow, 1 hour from ordering till first food turned up.

They did bring the boiled rice immediately after ordering though. Sadly it was stone cold when the real food turned up. We asked for fresh rice and they just put hot rice over the cold stuff and re-served it!

Half way through our mains we decided to get more fried rice. It never arrived. When we brought it to their attention no apologies, nothing.

Whole place has a couldn't care less attitude. Never again.

Another perfect dining experience at Muse.

Six of us there for dinner on a full Saturday night and it all flowed like music. Megan our hostess provided superb service all night and everyone else that attended our table was spot on, achieving that delicate balance of service without obtrusiveness.

As for the food we had a good smattering of offerings. Standout entree was the Yellowfin tuna. What a stunning presentation and taste. The mains were Lamb, Snapper and Duck. All dishes were wonderful, cooked as ordered and it was hard to pick a standout.

Desserts were all exceptional in presentation and taste but the standout was the turkish delight. Just exquisite and how they managed to make it taste so authentic I will never know.

All in all a wonderful night of dining and we rate this restaurant right up there with the best anywhere. This is the second time we have driven up from Sydney just to have dinner here!

Tried this place out based on the good reviews. Certainly a value restaurant and the food is fresh and tasty. We had the fish cakes and Tom yum soup for entree, prawns and coconut and chilli beef for mains. All up it came to a shade over $40. Portions are not huge for that price but the food is good. Looking around it seemed every table was reserved so they are certainly popular. We would go back for sure.

Went here during the week with a voucher. Didn't really know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. The young Brazilian (I think) waitress that served us was brilliant! Took the time to explain everything and made sensible recommendations. Best waitress of anywhere I have been to in the last few years.
The food was great, tasty and different but you do have to love your meat!

The accompaniments were generous and complemented the meats nicely, especially the potato salad. All in all a great experience. We will be back.

We eat here from time to time usually for a quick pub special and a beer but tonight we dined a la carte in the restaurant. It was a bit hit and miss. My lamb was cooked as ordered and the chicken kiev was a little dry but the duck was abysmal. Tough and stringy with a slightly off smell. We couldn't eat it. These meals are around $30 so you expect a bit more than rough and ready pub grub. Will stick to the $15 steak next time.

This place was a pleasant surprise considering its location right on a very busy road. Had the fish cakes, jungle curry, sate prawns and crying tiger. All was great, especially the sate sauce they made for the prawns. Good value restaurant and we would be happy to go back again.

Went there during the opening specials. Food was great, nice and fresh and tasty, all of it. At $3 a dish it was super value. Sutherland is a fairly price conscious area so hopefully the real prices wont be too steep.

Went on a Wednesday night. Its raffle night and as the restaurant is part of what is one big room it is very very noisy till the raffle announcements stop. The food has a good range from more expensive to the usual burger fare. We had the seafood platter, pork belly, the bream with harissa and the duck. Everyone thought the dishes were pretty good. Since the prices are fine dining prices the experience was somewhat tarnished by the constant loud announcements of the raffle lady. The have a set menu for $35 or $45 I think but this was never mentioned as an alternative by the waitress. Its on the back of the main menu which would lead you to believe you have a choice of the dishes therein but I found out later there is actually a completely separate menu.

Not a good dining experience. Very noisy and waiters with plenty of attitude. Ordered the Blueberry cheesecake for dessert and got served the passionfruit. Told waiter I didn't order that and got told its a mistake on the menu, we don't have it anymore. Then took the passionfruit away without even asking if I wanted something else! Won't see me again. Parking is a major pain here too.

Drove here from the Sutherland Shire to check out a restaurant that gets mostly rave reviews. We eat a lot of Thai food and find a good test is the fish cakes and the tom yum soup. If they are good then the mains are usually good. Both these entrees were great, good flavour and texture to the fish cakes and a very nice balance to the soup. The prawns were not overcooked and were plump and tender.

For mains we had the special, coconut prawns in a coconut shell and an old standby, massaman curry. Both dishes were very good. Service was excellent, the waiter forgot our water for a little while but then picked it up that we didn't have it and it arrived without prompting. That never happens at most restaurants. Once something is forgotten it usually stays forgotten till you remind them.

All in all it was worth the trip, food was great, service great and we will definitely go back.

We hand-make our fish cakes daily, as well as the tom yum paste, with herbs and chilli paste. Many people have commented to us that our Massaman is really nice, tender meat and the sauce a little sweet with a hint of the spices.
