Whilst the food was very tasty the service was slow. Sure it was Friday lunch hour but the people coming in for takeaway were being served a lot faster. We were lucky we were sharing our meals as the last one came out 1/2 hour after the first one.

Might try it again during the week to see if the service is better. It was busy and noisy, the noise seemed to bounce off everything, the door did not close properly so a draft was coming in making it quite cold where we were seated.

I have been here for dinner a feww times and am always left disappointed. Last time we were there the waiter forgot to put our Peking Duck order in. We had to remind them that we were waiting.

Whilst tasty, I would have preferred the Peking Duck to have had a bit more sauce. Many other places actually leave the Hoisin sauce so that you can add more if you need.

I found the fried rice a bit tasteless but enjoyed the Szechuan beef, it had the right amount of spice to it. Service was a bit slow, and we struggled to get the waiters' attention, 3 of them were hovering around the same table.

I've been here a few times and for a food court the food is very good. WBJ's food court is quite pleasant with comfortable tables and chairs. Food here is quite tasty, love the dumplings, vegetable dishes, s & p calamari and the cold tofu dish. Place is great for a quick meal while shopping.

Was here for a work lunch just before Christmas. Service was quite good, food was delicious. Although we had the set menu, we needed to order more food (paella) as this only allowed for 1 piece per person. I've rated ambience low as we were seated outside and I hate sitting outside on a busy street.

Do not know why some of the previous posters rated this place so low. Sure it is a bowling club, and the decor is old, but that does not take away from the food.

Both entrees - the Seared scallops on the puff pastry with a cauliflower puree and the gnocchi were delicious. The beef and stout pie was fantastics as was the lamb with the peas and mushroom pie floater.

Desserts were very nice, I had the apple and raspberry strudel, my friend the lemon tart, all was enjoyed. Service was fantstic. For a club I was very impressed. Will be back.

Had lunch here recently with my sister and sister in law. We only had salads but they were delicious. The Caesar salad had fresh anchovies, the poached chicken salad was light and the dressing was divine with intersting flavours. The duck salad was absolutely yummy. Wish I had more time in the Mornington Peninsula to go and try more of the food, it sounds fantastic.

I love this place, have been coming here for years for both my massages and my floats. What better way to relax that to combine a float and a massage in 1 if you can spare the 2 hours. Even better do a yoga or stretch class at the gym then come here for your float massage then go home & relax wonderful. They have recently added the hot stone massages that love but have not had one here as yet. The therapist discusses with you what sort of massage you want. I have not had 1 bad maasage in 20 years.

Have been here a few times when Cloedeli up the street is busy. Food is very good and tasty, coffee is yummy. There seems to be a lot of takeaway from here.
Staff are friendly, and service is quite good considering there are only 1 or 2 people actually serving, taking orders, making coffees etc.

Had dinner there with some friends recently. After reading some of the reviews I was not looking forward to the meal at all and I was pleasantly surprised. Steaks were absolutely yummy, even though mine was cooked closer to medium than medium-rare, the meat still melted in your mouth.

Chips were cooked to perfection, however, the rosti seemed a little on the dry side. Steamed vegetables were cooked perfectly (for me anyway). Desserts were yummy, both the brownie and the orange-almond cake.

Service was a little slow, it was a quiet night in the actual restaurant, however, meals were being cooked and taken downstairs. I will be giving it another go. The only down side to the Royal is the lack of parking nearby.
