I attended Spice Temple in a party of 6 a little while ago and overall had a fun dining experience. The place definately makes a strong impact upon first entry and creates an interesting (if a little dark) dining experience.

The night started with some cocktails made competently by the well mannered and dressed bar man and were of a high quality, if not a little pricey.

The food ranged from good to excellent, with the hot and numbing chicken a standout and a talking point for the table.

Everything in the place seems about 20% too expensive, but it is a uniques Asian dining experience in Sydney, even though you can get better, and much cheaper meals.

Ms G's is the very definition of a mixed bag. However, when you first walk in it does have a wow factor, with a funky layout and interesting design. The layout and the design to help to create a fun ambience. And that fun is carried throughout the entire place.

You are able to buy cocktails in sealed, take away (like Cha Time or Easy Way) plastic cups. The fun continues with their best item on the menu, mini pork belly burgers, which truly are fantastic.

The rest of the menu lacked the same punch as the starters and varied from OK to disappointing. I'd recommend heading there for a couple of quick drinks and a couple of cheeky burgers before heading into the Cross one night. Probably won't go back for a full dinner again.

My girlfriend and I found this unique tapas and cocktail bar a few months back and it is one of our favourites in Sydney. The Kingfish curry shots with jalepeno gelato that they were serving a little while ago is the favourite thing that I have eaten in a restaurant in the last 2 years. It was a perfect fusion of different textures and beautiful flavours. The rest of the menu was at times hit and miss (but more hit) and can be on the expensive side.

The bar itself is really cool, with fantastic service, a great ambience and an ecclectic layout and music selection. Great for a date night or a beginning of a big one in the city. It was so much fun that my girlfriend took a Hen's night there for dinner and drinks, with positive reviws all round.

The biggest compliment I can pay to this blink and you'll miss it Thai restaurant on Glebe Point Road is that we bypass 3 other thai restaurants to get here. With stir fry's and curries at just $11 a pop, and generous servings, it is the best value Thai food that I've had in the city. Be sure to try the Panang curry, and the chicken and lemongrass is good too. Good honest Thai food, that won't break the bank.

My girlfriend and I are hooked on this place at the moment. On a lazy weeknight when we don't feel like cooking, this is the place to go for anyone in the area. Overly generous servings of dumplings and noodles to die for. The Mrs and I can eat well for a $20, representing the best value in Sydney. You must be warned though, the beef and shallot pancakes (deep fried) are addictive, and I'm pretty sure not too friendly on the waistline. The ambience is crowded and plain, but that is what makes it so enjoyable.
