Being a local, I was very excited that Bondi finally had its very own beach front bar and restaurant. Hence, since this place opened a few months ago, I have been a regular down there, kicking back with a cold beer in hand and soaking up the atmosphere.

The fish burger and the brandade nicoise have become personal favorites, along with the carrot salad which my boyfriend insists on ordering every time. The quality of food and presentation always exceed what you would expect from a bikini and thongs beachside bar.

Well done guys... you are a much loved new addition to the Bondi area. The only place for a post dip drink!

I have eaten here many times over the years, and generally have enjoyed the experience.

My last 2 visits in the last 5 months have managed to prove 2 things beyond doubt about the current NBI, the prices keep going up and the restaurant just seems quieter and quieter.

Food was pleasant, but it really felt like we were dining at a wake. The often much anticipated energy of this restaurant was missing, as we're the customers.

The view is still there, but we left feeling a bit short changed on what was once a Bondi institution.

Finally organized the troops and went for a much anticipated lunch. Expectations were high considering all the hype. We were looking for that next great Woollahra dining destination.

Service was aloof and confused, we found our own table eventually through the blank stares of floor staff. Drink orders took forever to arrive, and 2 of those were incorrect anyway. No problem, we were here for the food.

As the courses arrived, we all happily shared the dishes amongst the 6 of us, swapping notes. The much anticipated Moran family lamb arrived and was well received, until the table next to us felt compelled to inform us discreetly that the origins of the produce were highly questionable, and that the lamb was from other sources. Who knows, it tasted ok, but not show stopping.

The desserts were acceptable, but again, not a reason to return.

At this stage, the general vibe amongst our table was that Chiswick was more style than substance. Ho hum. The vegetable garden looked great, but it was beginning to become difficult to understand what came from there, and what was from the providore's van.

We plan to return again soon, and hopefully, we will get the anticipated dining experience of simplicity and integrity, not just the early days blues and more bark than bite.

Dropped in for a late lunch and a drink after a meeting in the city. Was very abruptly told that lunch was no longer available, even though it was only 2.30 pm and there were a few tables still eating.

No problems, just a cold drink then will have to do. Wow, the most expensive beer I've had in the city outside of Ivy. Staff were trying, but poor product and a cold worn-out 1990's nightclub vibe didn't see us staying after our first drink. Food looked ok from other patrons' plates, but the prices were once again top end for a fairly casual CBD watering hole.

Better options available nearby at better prices and nicer ambience in my opinion.

Noisy and very dirty little place that is poorly run. Ordered from the tapas menu, and was alarmed to receive an assortment of very poor grade food, all clearly reheated directly from the fridge in a microwave, with the food having that very obvious "soft and melted" feel to it.

Service was slow and unnattentive, with the mobile phones of the staff getting tip top attention. A shame that such a venue can still exist in one of Australia's top tourist destinations. It embarrasses us all. Please lift your game, Bungabar.

Love Supreme is now nothing more than a supreme disgrace. Not sure exactly what the owners/managers are thinking, but just by reading through the last few reviews, you will get a very precise idea of how appallingly this venue has deteriorated over the last 2 years.

Sounding like a broken record from previous reviews, but after a promising start a few years ago, this restaurant is now nothing more than a poorly run, over priced and dirty establishment. Pizzas are still ok, but are seriously not worth the angst and frustration you will endure from inexperienced staff and rude and aggressive management and chefs.

No more chances for Love Supreme from another highly offended Paddington local. Like the rest of the suburb, we have gone elsewhere now for our pizza.
