Food 1 Ambience 5 Service 5 Value 1
It is quite difficult to see how this restaurant has attained its rating to date. The taste is substandard, the portion size is tiny, the waiting time is lengthy. I suppose they have made up the rest with their friendly smile and newly renovated decor.
I must point out the most disappointing part of the evening is in fact the portion size. Despite the food tasted no better than food court mass producted take away lunch box, they only managed to serve up a tiny portion for dishes they have called "Main". I have ordered most of their hot food main dish menu and that tiny portion size is quite consistent. While we did not order any of their nigiri sushi, that portion is also no better.
We finally left the restaurant still feeling hungry and with a bill that is not quite comparable to the level of satisfaction. The ironic part is, I believe even if we did want to order more and spend more to satisfy our hunger, the lack of variety, quality and quantiy make this option close to impossible. If you need to pick a Japanese restaurant in Crows Nest, I will give this one a miss to save yourself some disappointment.
