Lukewarm coffee, lukewarm food, lukewarm service. A "Why bother?" cafe. I won't be going there again. We were totally underwhelmed.

Chalio's Thai Restaurant, Beecroft

I ate at Chalios last week with two friends. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service attentive and the food delicious. I enjoyed the Salt and Pepper Prawns and the Crying Tiger (tender tender beef). A big surprise was dessert, which was a lovely end to the meal. Not usually my favourite in Thai restaurants. The coffee was good too. We'll be going back.

Had lunch here with a friend last week. The food was good, not outstanding, but the service was terrible and sl......ow! The waitresses didn't seem interested at all and it wasn't busy, in fact, quiet. Won't list the service complaints, too many. Won't be going here again.

Vini, Surry Hills

We went to 'Vini' last night (with friends) after the theatre. We were lucky to get the last table, outside, at about 9.30. The staff were helpful in suggesting a wine and answering our questions about the dishes we wished to order. We had lamb rotolo and stracci prawn - both delicious pastas. Took the waitress's advice re the wine (all Italian so we weren't sure) and we all enjoyed the choice. Not a cheap meal given the setting but we all really enjoyed it.

Racine @ La Colline, Orange

We had a weekend in Orange and decided to have diiner at Racine on Saturday night. It was recommended by our B & B hosts and was a perfect choice. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Some different flavours that worked really well together. I had the deboned duck followed by the cheesecake mousse. My husband had jewfish followed by the lemon curd. We chose the matching wines as per the menu. We enjoyed every mouthful and had a really lovely evening. We'll be going back next time we're in Orange.

We ate here a few weeks ago with friends. The whole experience was fabulous and we all thoroughly enjoyed our long lunch. The service was excellent, the food delicious and beautifully presented and the coffee was hot. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth every dollar. Definitely would recommend this one and can't wait to go back

I'm not sure why Curry Lovers has so many negative reviews. I have eaten here with friends about four times now and enjoyed every time. I found the food to be quite tasty, the naan bread delicious and the serving sizes adequate. They're not huge but they're enough. I haven't had any dish that I would describe as bland or tasteless. The service is quite good, occasional slipups when the restaurant is full. I didn't find it expensive at all, quite the opposite. The biggest surprise was the coffee, excellent, very hot and $2.50 a cup. I'll be going back.
