The food here is standard Indian but pretty decent all the same; and excellent value. The Dosa is good, although sometimes a little greasy. My particular favourite is the Punjabi Thali (although there always tends to be one dodgy curry - but can live with this as the other rest of the dishes are always tasty). The service is almost non-existent, but you wouldn't expect this kind of Indian to deliver on exceptional service. Great place for a cheap tasty Indian meal and I keep coming back, even if every now and then I encounter a slightly dogdy curry!

I found the food here absolutely dreadful. The service was oppressive (wait staff continually hovered around and were exceptionally intrusive). The food was bland and heavy and the flavours of the spices indistinguishable from the greasy aftertaste which lingered on my palate after every bite of every dish. Couldn't believe how boring the food was although clearly considerable effort had been made to present the food in a more "Western" fine dining manner. Fine dining it was not however; and I wouldn't even say it was an average dining experience. The food was also ridiculously overpriced and not good value at all! Just yuck and I won't be back ever!

A dinky & somewhat kitsch little restaurant on King St and although I am not usually a fan of "mock meat" I always really enjoy the food here and I eat here frequently. Excellent value and the waitstaff are always lovely and very accommodating. The food is light and yummy with the crispy pancake; the vermicelli with crispy spring rolls, mint, chilli and a range of mock meat; along with the summer rolls being particular favourites. Unpretentious surroundings, fab food and one of my favourite vegetarian restaurants so far!

Really enjoy eating here. The service is always great and the quality of the food consistently high. Really love the zuchini fritters, baked feta with chilli and the loukoumades with honey and walnut. The fish specials are also always great and the sardines are also a particular favourite. Really authentic Greek food and the staff are always genuinely friendly. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in the Inner West!

Like this place a lot! Love the chipea sausage roll and the roasted eggplant sandwich, the bread is always delicious and the coffee isn't bad either. A little overpriced for what you get, but still delicious. Would queue for that sausage roll anytime.

This place seems a bit of a poser hangout for those who treat Crown Street like a catwalk. However, recently had lunch here with some friends and although the service was pretty awfully (imperious actor/model types who deign to serve you with a roll of their eyes), the food was pretty good. Love the organic vege platter and the yummy selection of bread but the show stopper had to be the poached pear and vanilla frappe - yum! I'll be back but will be prepared for snooty waitstaff encounters next time.

This is one place I keep coming back to. I love the green tea smoked soba salad and the vegetarian sushi. The atmosphere is great (if you get a table in the main dining area) and the service is always just right. One of my favourite Japanese restaurants.

Great little place. Went with Singaporean friends who all agreed that the food was "just like at home". We had a few different Rotis which were all delicious, but my personal fave was the Roti with egg and onion. The service wasn't so good and bordered on rude at times, but to be honest we weren't overly bothered as the food was so good. Well worth queueing for, and we will keep coming back for more.

Great Lebanese food - best felafel in Sydney and awesome value. Really love this place, the decor is kitsch bordering on an eyesore and the service average at best, but happy to overlook all of that because the food was so great. The trek to Punchbowl was worth it for the felafel, babaghanoush and hommous and 4 of us ate for just over $50 and were so full we couldn't move after! Would highly recommend this place!

Awesome food, wonderful ambience, great wine list and fabulous service. Loved everything about Bistro Papillon and in particular that the atmosphere matched the food so perfectly. The creme brulee was the best we'd tasted in years and if we hadn't been so full we would have scraped the bowl clean. The suggested dessert wine matched perfectly. We'll be back!
