Went here for afternoon tea, won't be hurrying back. Ordered 2 iced coffees, banoffee pie and a copacabana cake. We had them eat in. Was charged $6 per iced coffee, they weren't anything special.

The copacabana cake was nothing special either. The Banoffee Pie ('Id say more tart size) was nice. In saying that, we were charged an additional $1.50-2 on top of the takeaway price for each of these cakes and coffees which is rather crazy.
Strangely, there was no menus or a price list up to see what drinks cost what.
For 2 small cakes and 2 iced coffees, $23.50 is a bit of a rip off when you don't get full table service.

And if they are trying to compete with a well known patisserie in Balmain in the artistic cake stakes, they have nothing on them.

My partner and I had yum cha here one Sunday while on holidays in Melbourne last year. It is the best yum cha I have ever had. Selection is great and always fresh. Good value and left very satisfied. The staff are friendly and efficient. Very clean and tidy restaurant. We will be heading back here this year on our next Melbourne trip.

We came here on a friday night after flying in from Sydney for the weekend. Glad to have found such a great place. We ordered Gyoza, YakiSoba and Tori No Teriyaki, all of which were amazing and you could taste every flavour in the food. I discovered Japanese Vodka and am now converted.

Waitstaff are very attentative and friendly. Prices are more than the average Japanese restaurant but the quality of the food more than compensates for that. Ambience is warm and appropriate. Definitely will return when we come back to Melbourne.

We had lunch here after driving from Melbourne for the day. The lamb burger is divine and very filling. My partner had the club sandwich which was also nice too. Great coffee and a nice warm place to be on a cold day. Definitely a place we would visit again when we return on another trip.

Went here for lunch, couldn't fault anything, service was prompt, food was fresh and fast. I had the pumpkin ravioli and my partner had the mexicana pasta. Great ambient lounge music playing in the background. Left satisfied and full. Much better value than the one across the road which is severely overpriced for common everyday meals not to mention their overpriced list of average wines..
Definitely will be a regular place for us as good places to go in the St George area are limited.

Good value, great selection and nice food, service is a bit slack, restaurant wasn't even full and it took them 15mins to serve us after we had looked at the menus..nearly walked out.

They also forgot our drinks until it took upteen go's to get someones attention to point this out. Staff weren't exactly friendly. Think if I went back I'd get take away only..

Wouldn't hurry back to this place, went here for a friend's birthday and have to say very average. I ordered a salmon skewer main which came out undercooked than what I asked for. Asked them to take it off the bill as I did not want to wait any longer since people in the party had to wait enough for theirs. Very noisy and not really value for money either. $10 for a bruschetta when I've had better elsewhere and cheaper.

The best place I have ever had Indian food, service was 10/10, waiter explained menu items well as we were dining with people who had not had indian often. Food was divine and promptly served. We had for entrees the special mix. Mains were Chicken Biryani, Lamb Chilli Curry, Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer and Tandoori Platter between 5 of us also with Naans, Rice, Raita and Mango Chutney. Dishes may appear small but don't be fooled.

Definitely value for money as we all came away satisfied and full. Appears to be a family run business, all who were friendly and helpful. They also donate part of their takings to a school in Northern India for the students, equipment etc. Definitely would go back!!
