Service: there is minimal service, it is like a foodhall so one should not expect it, especially as the prices are low. Do not order the seafood laksa. It has one small prawn, one mussel, one baby octopus, a few slices of fish-cake, the broth is bland and unremarkable, too creamy, very mediocre.

Prices, however, are cheap. All the dishes I tried including the various curries and stir-fries are unremarkable and cheap. I worked at Pitt st. Mall for a while very very close to this place and I love Malaysian food so I gave them a real go. But just disappointing each time. It's Ok for a super-quick super-cheap meal if you are there and you have no time, and you feel like something Asian, spicy and hearty.

A reasonably priced Japanese joint that crams customers like fish in a lobster tank. Which is fine by me because the food is reasonable and cheap. The soft-shell crab was excellent. Their curries are Ok. I've had better. The service is absolutely disgraceful. I know the place is packed and there is a queue and a constant stream of diners, but this should not be an excuse for unfriendly service.

A smile would be nice. It's very cheap. May be I'm asking for too much. I'm not going back there though, I'll have my money to some other restaurant. They don't need my money anyway.

Excellent tasty food in a bland environment with harsh lighting that makes all diners look like zombies. Food is fantastic. Service is good enough.

Pizzas are Ok. Base is usually soggy. Otherwise tasty. Service is something else. I once went there to get take away. There was no other customers there at the time. I sat at a table waiting for the pizzas. The waitress embarrassingly asked me to wait outside. I could not understand it. The guy stood at the counter with his arms folded waiting for me to leave.

The waitress told me that the chairs are for diners only. I said that there are no diners! She then whispered "please leave...he is a jerk. Please." I didn't want the waitress to get into trouble. I just waited outside. I should have just asked for my money back but I was hungry and needed to get back to work with my food. I'd never been treated like that before nor since by a restaurant.

A class above every other Thai restaurant in Newtown. Service is unbelievable. I almost expect a foot rub. Very friendly and attentive. They use very fresh ingredients, one can really taste it. It is a few dollars dearer than the average Thai place but really worth it. I'm a regular. Nice lighting.

This is one of the few Thai restaurants in Newtown that use tiny Thai eggplants for their jungle curry. Great restaurant!

Fantastic pastizzis at a great price, perfect for a late night snack run. Some of the staff are terrible with their service. Others are excellent. It's pot luck.

Can't complain too much. For $10 you can get fed decently. Their combination rice is very flavoursome and comes with nice chicken soup. I wish they served broken rice though. Service is quick and friendly. Decore is just what you'd expect.

Excellent value-for-money. Great friendly service. Their beef salad is supremely tasty and adventurous, using ingredients such as lychees.

The value is great but the atmosphere is quite dreary. Service is average. Slow and inattentive. Food is quite tasty, especially the pork chops.
