The waiter was exceptionally rude. We booked a table and arrived exactly on time, on a very cold day. We were told our table would not be ready for 15 minutes and to wait at a table outside. When we were finally seated, 20 minutes later, we were directed to a table next to the door. It was freezing!

A $14 salad was ordered to share, among other food, which arrive and was so small it was almost invisible. We ordered a carmalised onion tart, which was over cooked, soup which was served in a tiny glass. The prices were high for tiny portions of mediocre food.

The acoustics were dreadful, with an open plan kitchen and high ceilings, making conversation difficult. We were most disappointed in the service and the rudeness of the waiter. The building and ground are lovely and we had hoped for a more satisfying experience.
