There was a minor hiccup in the booking, they weren't able to find my name in the book when we got there. In the end they found my mobile number but it had a different name to it. It would be great if they confirmed my booking on the day. Overall though, service was great, attentive without being intrusive. I felt that the place was a bit crowded. The tables were too close, although you can't really hear people's conversations in adjacent tables.

Food was delicious, portion size generous. Spent a wonderful evening there with a friend who I haven't seen in years. Will be back with more friends next time.

Nice food, great service, but one can probably have a proper 3 course meal at a hatted restaurant for the same price or less.

First of all, please note that this restaurant has moved to 118 Norton St. We had to ring and ask when we got there. But it was well worth the trouble, what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. I've never been to the old place but the new one's got great ambience, very understated and the space between tables are just right that you can't hear each other's conversations.

Food was great, best I ever had in the Leichhardt/Haberfield area, although there can still be some room for improvement with the garlic prawns, the eye fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and attentive. Had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

Came here last night with a Spreets voucher ($49 for a 3 course meal). This place is a pizza and pasta restaurant and that's pretty much all they have on their menu.

Food was mediocre at best, the seafood pasta only had one prawn in it so did the pizza. I don't know if this is how they make their pizzas over in their hometown or what, but there were way too many mussels on the pizza and not much else except runny tomato sauce. More importantly I don't know where they get their mussels from but they all smelt funny.

Service was quite friendly but our orders weren't taken until 15 minutes after we were seated and there was a very long wait between the entrees and mains. House was almost full on a Tuesday which suggests the restaurant must be quite popular with the locals but personally I couldn't see what the attractions were. Shall not return.

Used a 3 course meal voucher which I prepurchased for $55. Huge mistake! One of the worst deals I ever bought. I have eaten at many many Italian restaurants and this is by far one of the worst I ever came across. I honestly do not know how this restaurant can survive amongst all the tough competitors in the area.

We ordered an avocado salad and garlic prawns for entree. The garlic prawns came with 3 slices of bread and was quite tasty, unfortunately it remained the highlight of the evening. The salad consisted of half an avocado with a couple of prawns on top surrounded with some lettuce. It looked like it was made by a 10 year old, I swear I can do a much better salad and I'm not much of a cook.

For the mains, I ordered a scotch fillet steak while my partner ordered a veal dish. When they came out there was no presentation to speak of whatsoever. After I took a bite of the steak, I decided I've had enough and it was time to leave. The steak was bland and came with no sauce. Any pub bistro can make a better steak. We didn't even bother with desert which is included with the deal.

The waitress was friendly enough but does not make up for the bad food. This restaurant really brings shame to Italian cuisine. I will never ever return to this place again.

Ordered two medium pizzas last week with a voucher I prepurchased. I was completely underwhelmed with the taste and size of the pizzas. Better pizzas can be bought from Pizza Hut and Domino's, and for less money. How can they call these gourmet pizzas? Even with the deal (2 medium pizzas + 2 cans) I didn't think it was good value.

I'm very sorry that you didn't have a pleasant experience in our little restaurant. The medium pizza that you ordered is in fact our smallest size pizza at 11". There are 13" as well as 15" sizes to chose from. The $15 voucher that you purchased from an online deals website only entitled you to 2 traditional pizzas ($30 value). We have a large selection of gourmet pizzas that have earned us several wonderful reviews across different sites. We would love you to come in and try us again.

Tucked away in one of the back streets in Surry Hills, the place is a lot bigger than I imagined. Not hard at all to find street parking on a Saturday morning, the restaurant was half full when we walked in and the owner/manager welcomed us with a huge smile.

Food was not bad but left something to be desired for and I found the serving size a bit small. My partner ordered an egg benedict with salmon but instead got ham. A small hiccup whic was quickly rectified.

Service was very friendly if a bit slow, given the place was only half full and there were 3 floor staff, perhaps better training is needed to improve efficiency? All in all, a nice restaurant and a fine dining experience.

Came here with my girlfriend on a beautiful Sunday for lunch. Booked in advance with a Scoopon voucher. For entrees, I had the garlic prawns and my girlfriend the soft shell crabs. They were cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed it. For the mains, I had the mulloway while my girlfriend had the salmon steak.

Service was friendly albeit a bit patchy. After we finished our mains, I had to wait a *very* long time before I finally decided to call the girl over to order our dessert. Also it took way too long for each course to be brought out.

The restaurant itself is not very spacious and there is not much room between the tables. Decor is almost non-existent although the chairs were quite comfortable. It is also a shame that due to the elevation of the main road and the concrete barriers in the middle of the road you cannot see the water from inside of the restaurant.

Came here last night with a friend. We used a Cudo voucher for the All You Can Eat Ribs deals. Prior to this I have only been here once. Service was excellent, staff very friendly. The ribs was a bit burnt and left something to be desired for. Towards the end of the night, they seemed to have ran out of spare ribs because when we asked for more, they only brought out small pieces.

Spent about 45 between the two of us including drinks. The price of beers at this place is quite cheap compared to other restaurants (~$6) but a glass of OJ costs $5.5 and it's not organic. I bought two vouchers and there is one left. I would gladly come back with the other voucher. Until next time.

Edit: Came here again last weekend, the place was packed even though it was raining and there were still people lining up outside after 9pm. Unfortunately, probably due to the volume of patrons, we did not recieve the same standard of service we got last time round, which is the reason I've downgraded their service from 9 to 7. There were three of us this time, we waited outside for 30 minutes, came inside and waited another 30 minutes at the bar for a table, then a further 40 minutes until our order was taken! And that was after I complained to a gentleman who looked like the floor manager. It was not hard to see that the place was swamped but the waiter who served us must have a memory which resets itself after 5 minutes. He had to be constantly reminded about our orders. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.
