Dined in once and takeaway once, everything took incredibly look, takeaway order took 2 hours with pickup! Just unpalatable, not worth eating. My first experience had me spitting the food into my napkin, so revolting I couldn't even swallow! Thought I chosen the wrong dish then went for takeaway, just as bad. We don't need to bother with places like this in Sydney, so I won't again! Let's not even talk about the service.

Great views are all you will get! Very basic and uninspiring food. I didn't think anyone served plain old white bread with eggs benedict?! Please don't bother going here unless desperate!

Just had breakfast, sitting in sunny courtyard. Wonderful first experience! Healthy and super tasty honey smoked salmon with avocado on sourdough toast, heavenly! Great service, very reasonable prices and beautiful food, this is sure to be my local favorite from now on. Undiscovered.... Might want to keep it that way.

Very attentive service. Food was quite ordinary really, no where near the rave reviews it has attracted. Restaurant was very loud and took away from what was to be a fine dining experience. Had the degustation, not value for money in terms of flavour of food or overall experience.

Dined at Darley's for the first time on my 40th birthday, wow! The degustation was simply superb, clean and fresh flavours, beautiful in its simplicity! After a degustation, one expects to feel like one has over eaten but the sensation was nicely satiated and very pleased with such a great meal.

Having had the privilege of dining at several hatted restaurants in the last month, I found Darley's well worth the 2 Hats. Service left much to be desired but the Chef's skill more than made up for this shortfall. Will recommend and return!

Could it have just been an "off" day? The food, part of the friday fixed price menu, was nothing to rave about, so much so that the only reason for eating it was sheer hunger! Dessert so ordinary I didn't bother eating after first spoon. Is this attempt at 'mass feeding' in a 3 hat restaurant starting to compromise quality? The turnaround at the tables could rival any other cafe at lunchtime!

But the prize would go to the service! Very much a case of I'm doing this but don't think I'm enjoying it. My skim milk coffee request was met with "we've run out of skim milk", no apology or even attempt to get some milk!

Senior staff spent much of the late afternoon on the restaurant floor on his mobile or taking photos with gushing diners, perhaps, he could have gone down the street for some milk! Used to be my favourite restaurant.

What an undiscovered gem! Across the road from the Greater Union in Mosman, I've driven pass often and see it empty, however, tried it on one occasion and pleasantly surprised.

Satay chicken skewers were moist and flavoursome in addition to being 4 generous sized skewers. Chilli Seafood was exactly that but tasty, fresh and well presented. Great value and lovely food!

The English expect food to taste the same all over the world?! On the contrary, the food here is beautifully spiced as opposed to just "hot", it has flavour to be savoured and enjoy. Entrees of Chicken tandoori and keema naan were both freshly prepared and large portions. Balti lamb is spicy and tender whilst the chicken with whole spices are quite unusual yet delightful. Service though can be rather slow but well worth the wait.

Great decor, professional staff and all the trimmings of a fine restaurant including the linen tablecloth. Lovely until the food arrives and the portions sizes are so small (chicken skewer entrees were about 2 x 7cm long of flattened chicken particularly the entrees) that I felt quite ripped off and annoyed. Average food but certainly not worth the price in a city with great thai restaurants.

Booked a table for 2 for my partners birthday. Ordered a $50 bottle of wine, told that the wine was sold out and offered another bottle which I knew to be valued at $210 having seen it on the menu so questioned the staff if they were sure about this as it was expensive and a very generous offer! Told that was fine then half way through the first glass of wine the same staff member came to the table grabbed the bottle saying she had made a mistake and the wine we had asked for was indeed in stock and she would bring that over!

Having checked with her before accepting her offer, was this appropriate?! No effort made to recognise that it was my partners birthday, not even a happy birthday wish!

Service was so slow and it proved painful trying to get attention. We ordered a glass of wine after waiting 40 minutes for the wine flight which we had ordered (this came with wine hence us not ordering wine seperately originally) and about 2 minutes after getting the wine our wine flight arrived so our wine order was superfluous!

The food though was very tasty and beautifully presented! But this, unfortunately, didn't make up for the other frustrations.
