For the entree, I ordered the aptly named 'tasting', a taste tester of various items on the entree menu. This turned out to be beautifully presented and delicious, however, the small size of this entree should have set off the alarm bells inside of me. For the main, I ordered the beef tenderloin with soft mash, mustard crust and red wine sauce. Whilst delicious, this tiny portion of beef set atop a thin smear of mash could hardly be described as an entree, let alone a main course.

Service was polite, however, the long wait between ordering and being served the meals was inexcusable, especially since the restaurant was not even close to capacity. After paying a hefty sum for our meals, we left feeling hungry and more than slightly ripped off. No fine dining experience should end with the consumer travelling to a 24 hour McDonalds drive thru. How disappointing.
