Possibly one of the largest and most satisfying bowls of beef pho I've ever had for $8.50 - great value, great taste and it offers a wider selection of meat choices and cuts then most. Just wish it was closer to where I live!
I've been eating here since the age of 8 or somewhere around there till now 18.
I have to say the food is consistent in taste and is always nice. I usually have the crispy chicken, pork chop, combination rice and spicy noodles.
I have been there for several times. The foods are fantastic. Also the environment and staffs are friendly. Love to enjoy my weekend with my friend at that restaurant. They are also have new website: www.phohoang.com.au.
This place is amazing. Ok it's no 5 star restaurant but if you'r up for good food at a price that can't be beaten, then go to Dakao Hoang. Very friendly family business that not only serves your typical Vietnamese-Chinese dishes which most if not everyone in Melbourne has tried but if you have a look at the special menu, it contains some more "genuine" Viet foods. E.g. the Vietnamese pancake, coleslaw, red curry duck. Another thing one must try are the delicious fruit smoothies. My favorites include Durian and Jackfruit. It's really busy on friday and weekends so be sure to make a booking, hope that help.
