We stepped into the small restaurant and the smell of incense was quite pleasing and sweet, I would not say it was warm and cozy, but you wouldn't even find that in Thailand! Granted we went relatively early in the evening, our group of 3 at 6 pm sat as the only patrons there at the time, but by 7:45 when we left, quite a few patrons and families had come through, service to them may or may not have been slow because of numbers, but to us who had ordered early, service was quick and superb.
The food, was quite tasty, the peanut sauce with roti a great side dish and pad thai was also nice. We had a yellow curry and salad as well which were both enjoyed.
I bought prawn stir fry takeaway one night and when I got home I found 3 prawns in my dish - the rest vegetables. I called the restaurant to let them know my disappointment and they argued the number of prawns I had saying the kitchen staff put in 5. Go figure.
Outstanding food, we have been around 4 times in the last few months and introduced several friends to this place. Very small, not too busy, service is a little too slow and the venue is dull however, the food makes up for this. It seems a lot of people order take away and perfer to eat at home I have noticed.
