We took a group including children here and the food was amazing, cooked to our heat tolerances and delicious. The restaurant has had a facelift and is warm and inviting, with the staff extremely accommodating allowing us to bring in outside food for the young children. We will be making this a regular on our dining calendar.
They call themselves "The First Classy Indian Restaurant in Cranbourne". Pretty funny stuff, but reality is the service is great and so is the food. If you like your curry spicy you should ask for it when ordering, otherwise, it will be very mild. Flavours are excellent. We paid a bit over $40 for a couple of main meals and lassies. It's a good place to eat if you like Indian food but want to eat somewhere nicer than the average Indian restaurant. Service was fast for us but we were the only ones there when we ordered.
A large group of us dine here approximately every 2 months. The restaurant is quite plain to look at but the food and friendly service is excellent and we provide our own ambience as we can be quite jovial and really enjoy our time there. It is a non-pretentious environment that allows you to relax easily. I have bumped into many friends there who can afford to dine in a much more up-market restaurant but choose to dine here because of the food.
Eating in is much better than takeaway with all the takeaway dishes ending up like soup. The food however is great, the owners friendly. It could use a good paint but it's not exactly pretending to be 5 star either. For good Indian food at a reasonable price then it's fine.
