Put simply - this place is hell bent on insulting your intelligence and your palate.
Here's a question: If someone served you slop on a plate for an excessive price in a beautiful location, what would you do?This is the Atrium experience. In short, don't go there.In long? A $16 serve of "chilli squid" consisted of three pieces of stringy, reconstituted and far-from fresh squid, drowned in cheap sweet chilli sauce with an after-thought salad.

A "mediterranean veggie wrap" is apparently a pita bread around a suss looking vegetable pattie with nothing that looks like it came from south of the British Isles inside and not an identifiable vegetable in sight. $15.

Cheap ingredients, meals made to provide as much of a mark-up as possible and...to add to the experience, an owner apparently happy to argue with suppliers in front of customers.If I didn't part with my hard-earned to try the food, it would be Fawlty-esque funny rather than sad. As it was, it was a depressing experience - the kind that even wrecks an afternoon out in Queenscliff.

Boring, truck stopish and tired, this cafe/bar needs some elective surgery and fast if it is going to thrive in this holiday town. A great space and so much potential for a cafe by day and tapas bar by night (there is a great outdoor space, under utilised). The staff were nice, no problems there. Looking for new owners, the only way is up.
