Uh-oh. I live around the corner from Zushi and after a hiatus of about 6 months (and trekking up to Potts Point to Busshari, thought I would give the local a go for lunch. A big mistake. $16 for the tempura lunch set (mixed with seafood) came with a skanky little prawn and a plate full of greasy tempura veg. Mix up on the order. And brown rice that had been in the rice cooker for too long, dry and hard.

Left most of my lunch, with no questioning from the wait staff. Seems as though they have undergone a management change, as it is a completely different restaurant compared to 6 months ago. Give it a miss and just head next door for a gelato lunch, or to the Green Park for a liquid one.

My husband and I went to Zushi tonight for a change. We usually frequent Busshari and Kujin (Potts point and Elizabeth Bay) which we love. I was very disappointed. We ordered a Chefs special sushi and sashimi. Plate cost $60.00 for two. That's ok but sashimi cut too thick. Red Plum sangria a let down. We questioned the alcohol content? If any!

Wagu beef extremely tasty, but too small a dish for $20. About 8 cubes in total....joke. Worst part Green Tea ice-cream. I'm a lover of green tea ice cream and this was horrible. Awful taste left on the palette almost tasted like dry flour. Service was good, place cute.

I have ordered takeaway on a few occasions now and they always take an hour to deliver, which I was ok with given I was looking for some variety working late and they deliver. They use a contractor to deliver but it is still part of their offering. The last time I ordered, it took two hours to arrive, and when it did, all the orders were cold.

To top it off, my $20 Wagyu beef order consisted of five cubes of beef no larger than a 50 cent coin. I complained about the delivery time and was promised a voucher by the senior staff. Nothing. I will never order from them again.

No good. I honestly don't know why people rave about this place. It's Far from authentic... they use poor quality produce. If you know good Japanese food steer clear or be disappointed.

At similar prices Sushi Yachiyo around the corner on Kirkton avenue is far superior in terms of both quality of produce and value for money. Won't be returning.

I found this place to be ok with service. There was one waitress with a cold professional mannerism. I think she was actually Chinese. There was another waitress who was friendly and she looked like a stunning Japanese lass.

The food was above average. It's definitely better than your typical sushi train franchise but you are paying for it as well with higher prices. Pan fried Gyoza was nice. I also had a lunch special of sashimi and wagyu cubes with a bowl of brown rice. The tuna was above average quality with it's dark colour and creamy texture. Wagyu cubes were quite tasty as well. I was also given a small side of seaweed salad and miso soup.

Dismissive staff, slow service, got the wrong meal. The food is ok, but I wouldn't rush back.

This place rocks. Ask for the daily special, you will never be be disappointed with anything you try here!

If you are a sushi train addict and think you Know sushi, you need to give yourself an uppercut. Zushi is the Real Deal. I thought I knew everything there was to know about sushi, how sadly mistaken I was. Zushi Darlo is creative, innovative, authentic and perfect, join them on Face book for special deals I mean $5 roll night with a specail FB password, the owner goes above and beyond to make this place work. You won't be sorry!

This is our favourite sushi place in Sydney, and we drive across Sydney to get there! The set menus at lunch are great value (most are $20) and the a la carte at dinner is extraordinary. We normally order a couple of the specialty rolls and share. The service can be a little non-existent, but at times it can be nice not to be rushed! We love it!

4 of us went to Zushi's on a Saturday night and we were truly impressed with this place! I did try to make a booking in advance but they don't take them so, so we decided to try our luck. From the moment we got there the service was prompt, professional and extremely friendly.

The food was exquisite, I highly recommend the tempura whiting! With enough food to satisfy and alcohol the total bill came to $50 per head (inc. our tip). Will definitely return!
