Dropped in for a quick bite before the movies, ordered two rice dishes, spicy pork and the melted cheese options. Both filling and served with complimentary kim chi, chili sauce and other condiments. Provides a nice change from the Japanese rice dishes of their neighbours. Dishes were served within a reasonable time and service was friendly. Zozo was only half full so not sure about how they'd cope when packed.
The food at Zozo is expensive. My friend's seafood hotpot looked very delicious and satisfying. My seafood pancake was very nice, but a little expensive. Service was good, attentive staff, one was nice enough to wait for us while we got into a pose. I won't be back here in a hurry, as there are better Korean restaurants out there in the city.
We had the pancake and one of the hotpots, both were really nice. The service was very fast, friendly and efficient. We were seated upstairs in a lovely room, the only downside was the asian pop music in the background, but that is to be expected. It's the best Korean food I've had in Sydney.
We've been here a few times before and had pretty good korean food. However, we went there last night with a group of friends and had the worst service ever. Our green tea didn't come until our meal was pretty much over. We had 6 on a table with hot pot in between, so we wanted more small dishes on the other side for my friends who couldn't reach. They said no, but we can refill.
So we asked for a refill, only to be told that we are not eligible because we had finished our meal. In fact, we all had full bowls of food in front of us, just the pot was empty. We convinced the waiter that we hadn't finished our meal. The waiter came back with a tiny dish of kimchi and said 'This is your last time'. We didn't even refill yet and look at his stinking attitude!
NEVER GO THERE unless you want to pay for overpriced food and a horrific dining experience. It would make you look like a gentleman in front of your girlfriend though with scum waiters like them =)
I have to agree with most reviewers here that it’s average. The lunch special is $15, not exactly a special in my eyes. At least it comes out with a little of this and that, that’s what I like about Korean food; the little variety makes a big difference. The food is average at best though.
I asked the spicy pork not to be that spicy and they obliged which was great. I ate around 5pm and they still let me order food from the lunch specials for lunch prices, so I have no complaint about the service, though I think the waiter’s English seemed to be quite limited.
They seem to have a fair variety of food here but the prices are little too high for my liking.
From reading the other comments, I can only assume this place has really improved. I have been twice in recent weeks for lunch and it has been great. Everyone in my group loved the food, there is alot of it, and the side dishes change every time. The lunch special for $14 is great value considering the size of the meal. I would definitely recommend.
Ate dinner here and ordered the pork belly and bulgogi BBQ dishes. Served with several side dishes and dipping condiments and cooked on a gas BBQ. Both were very good. Entree was deep fried dumplings which were also very tasty. Service was good with the waiter cooking the BBQ dishes at our table so we didn't need to do anything. Serves aren't huge but good for a simple, fresh meal.
This was really quite disappointing. Went as a small group, squashed into a table, and almost every meal was disappointing. There are plenty nicer places to eat in the vicinity.
Nice decor so wanted to try out, but wasn't very impressed. Food was overpriced - which we would have tolerated had it been of good standard. However, was disappointed, the seafood pancake was good but greasy, everything else was bland. Wouldn't go again.
